    • Serviceable but cheap tent
For the price, I did not expect a lot. My purpose for this tent is storing clothing, coolers etc. It is for supplies needed when I am backcountry camping so I don't have to fit everything into my real tent. It is useful for that purpose. I would never use this as a sleeping tent. I had to buy a $6 patch kit for one corner because where the top was being sewn to the bottom was improperly sewn and it's causing the tent fabric to rip. Patching it to shore it up before it's ever used to stop the top from ripping further. I decided it was better to fix one corner on this tent than to order another and it possibly have even more problems. These are cheaply made tents which is why they are so inexpensive. I gave it four stars, because I knew what I was getting as far as an inexpensive tent. I took off a star because of the improperly sewn corner. These tents are perfect if you want to store supplies or camp out in the backyard or as a play tent for children. Do not expect more out of it.     • Good for price but missing rain fly
The tent is lightweight and easy to assemble. I haven’t used it on a hike yet so it hasn’t been in any inclement weather but I’m going to spray it with waterproofing first. Downside- it came missing the rain fly. I was only given the option to return, not replace. Since the price had gone up in the few days it took to receive it, I would be paying more than the original price to buy a replacement- plus the hassle. There are supposed to be four "pincers" but there are only three. I don't think the person who returned this included all the "extras." I am hoping that the homeless person getting this can know how to compensate for the lack of four "pincers."

We did get damp one morning. We are going to treat it I think that will do the trick. It’s not for a week long trip or everyday use I will say that. We will be able to use it a few more times. We took it for a weekend trip where we packed a canoe so we packed light and camped on the river for 3 days it lasted but day 2 we did notice that morning it was damp inside the tent it dried out quick and was fine the rest of the trip. There are no windows so bring a camp fan but for a quick pack light trip if you waterproof it I think it will last a few good trips. Also we fit a queen mattress in it and that’s its we squeezed our dry bags in with us at night. ... show more

Very fast set up, just two poles. Free standing. Fabric is lightweight nylon not rip-stop. Zipper is low grade and extremely light. When tent arrived they were separated mid zipper while sealed at both ends. Stitching on zipper is single strand and not finished. Threads hanging all along zipper and snags zipper when in use. Pass through is literally cut into fabric with no supporting stitching and does not appear to be heat sealed as one would with nylon fabric. I thought it was a manufacturing defect when I first saw it. Rainy fly is only 17" x 20" and barely covers the only vent in the tent. If it rains in any other direction other than straight down you and your gear are going to have a wet night. Limited ventilation, no windows other than front door and it heats up fast. If your a serious camper you will be greatly disappointed. If you need a crazy cheap tent for a weekend, this is for you just don't have any expectations of it lasting more than 1 season if it makes it that far. Lightweight, waterproof, and continues to last after 6 separate Boy Scout hikes. Tight for 2 teens with gear. Great for one Scout in a tent (COVID restrictions) and easy to carry and set up. The tent poles go through sleeves not clips which is a little pain, but for the cost, I’ll not complain.
