This combo of both sharpeners is great. I used the flat side to level out any burrs on my blade and the V-shaped side to help improve the blade edges. My skates felt great after sharpening for a one minute with this. Be sure to wet the stone before using. This will not make a dull blade sharp, but a blade that has worn a bit and could use a new sharpening, this tool will get it feeling sharp again for a few more skates. ... show more
