I bought these to use with an electronic drum kit, and they work great. They are very durable and have held up to hours of playing. I was previously using rubber coated sticks for grip because I am a beginner/amateur drummer (just for fun) and I frequently was losing hold of the sticks. But those rubber coated ones break down quickly and the rubber comes off - making them trash. These have just the right amount of "crosshatched" grip on the handles - that will NOT wear off! Bravo!
