I really needed new cupcakes pan. I saw those on Amazon and liked it right away. I washed them and put them away. Area days later I started making breakfast and needed one of those pans. Holy cow how nice they are. My old pans I had to take a knife to scrape the food stuck on it. Ugg. Then let it soak overnight. Ugg. I tossed them away! These new what a difference. The cups are an odd size between a normal muffin and mini muffin size, leaning closer to the normal muffin but if you bake a full size muffing and put it next to it, you will see a difference.

    • Depth of One Inch Only; Too Shallow for Some Recipes

It's hard to visualize the actual size of these muffin tins based on the pictures, but I assumed they were standard sized since they weren't described as mini muffin tins. In reality, they are smaller than the standard size, but you wouldn't realize that based on the pictures alone. I'm disappointed in how shallow they are because I had purchased them for the sole purpose of making egg bites, scrambled eggs with additional food items added to them, such as sausage, cheese and mushrooms. However, these tins are so shallow that they won't work for egg bites or any other type of food with extras added. I suppose they will work fine for plain muffins and cupcakes, but those are items I rarely prepare. I like the idea of having smaller muffin tins in that there are 6 cups in one pan rather than 12, but I would prefer they be the standard size with more depth to them. On a more positive note, these are strong and sturdy pans, and they washed up well in my dishwasher. Although the promotion page states that this is an item that is returned more frequently than others (which I didn't see until after I bought it), I will keep it and I'm sure I'll use these pans at some point. ... show more
