They work great with the Ryobi charger and the tools. Charging takes an hour or longer and the big plus that these battery packs have is a four led meter that will show the remaining charge when you push the button. Only time will tell how long a life these battery packs will have. The case and the connections are made of quality materials and so far after two uses and charging cycles the packs are running the tools with full power till they shut down due to the low voltage battery protection. Looks like these batteries are a perfect replacement for the original. I charged them both fully and tried one in my power drill. Obviously that's the extent of my current experience so time will tell how they perform.
