It is about the size of the 1.5 Ah M12 batteries so there is some doubt these are really 3.0Ah but I don't know how to test the capacity. Functionality is similar to original M12 batteries.

I use M18 and M12 Milwaukee platforms on a daily basis in my small businesses. These batteries charge perfectly on my standard Milwaukee high speed combination chargers. I used both of these cells in a standard drill and in a 1/4 inch hydraulic impact. The tools performed as expected and the batteries discharged consistently all the way to fully discharged and took charge in the allotted time. These cells behave just like the OEM units and more importantly the bare tools don't seem to have any fall off in their exceptional performance with these replacement cells.

First off, these batteries really surprised me. When I have bought non name brand batteries in the past, I've been sorely disappointed. To the point that I thought I would never buy aftermarket batteries again. Then I tried these Ziment batteries and I was pleasantly surprised. They claim 3.0 ah, and that is probably pretty accurate. To test these M12 batteries, I started by drilling eight 1/4" holes in 1/2" osb. Then I realized that would take forever to drain the battery so I stepped up to some 12 gauge steel. I started by drilling ten 1/8" holes and it didn't bog down, or lose a bar of charge (was using the battery gauge on the Milwaukee drill). Next I drilled eight 1/4" holes in that same 12 gauge steel. In the middle of the eighth hole, the battery dropped to 3 of 4 bars. Still didn't bog down at all through all the holes. For comparison, a name brand 1.5 ah battery was at 2 of 4 bars after this same test. Then a name brand 2.0 ah battery lost only 1 bar of charge, but it happened on the third hole with the 1/4" bit in the 12 gauge steel. All in all I'm very impressed. Especially when you can get 2 Ziment batteries for less than one name brand Milwaukee battery. I definitely recommend.

My husband really likes these Ziment 12 V batteries. They fit his Milwaukee drill perfectly. The batteries are well made and a quality product. They function rather well and the charge lasts awhile. Their power us exceptional. Definitely worth the purchase.

These are great back-up batteries for anyone who uses Milwaukee M12 tools. These charge fast, have a decent battery life, and are priced quite reasonably. While they don't last as long as the original batteries, they are perfect to keep you working while the factory battery is recharging. For the price, these are a great investment to help enhance your tool's usefulness.
