I picked up this 2-pack polyurethane windshield adhesive mainly to reseal a slightly leaking windshield trim and a headlight housing, and it worked great. The adhesive has a thick, durable consistency that spreads nicely and really grabs once it starts curing. It feels like the same type of sealant used in professional auto glass installs. What I liked most is how weather-resistant and flexible it is once cured. After applying it around the edge of my headlight housing, it sealed everything up tight and kept moisture out. We’ve had rain and some cold mornings since then and the seal is still holding strong with no leaks. The 310ml tubes are a good size too, so you have plenty for multiple projects. I also appreciated that gloves were included since this stuff is pretty sticky. If you’re resealing windshields, headlights, glass, or trim, this kit is a solid option to have in the garage. Overall, a reliable sealant that does exactly what it’s supposed to do and saves you a trip to the shop.

For some reason the description mentions "chips and cracks" but this is not that sort of product at all, it's a polyurethane adhesive, similar in consistency to caulk or shoe goo. It's black, viscous and it's for mounting windshields, rear glass, etc. It works exceedingly well for that application, which is why you need a wire saw to remove the old one. It's fairly easy to use, you just have to take special care to thoroughly clean and prep the surface(s) before application, clean up any messes quickly, and allow sufficient cure time before driving. It says quick cure but it's a job I did not want to do twice in one week, so I waited 24 hours just to be safe. This is a great price for this type of product, I have paid twice as much for 3M at a local auto body supply shop.

This sealant worked perfectly for my old Chevy, and it comes with the sealant and some gloves, and it’s easy to apply and it does seal very well and after two weeks it still seals and holds exceptionally well! Though the seal was perfect, it does take a while to actually cure, and this one took about a day to fully cure which takes a lot longer than some other sealants but for the money it’s not bad at all.

Calvana (2 Pack Windshield Repair Kit – Black Polyurethane Adhesive for Car Glass Chips & Cracks, Quick-Cure & Weather-Resistant Sealant This material has many uses beyond just windshields. It is a 'cousin' to conventional moisture cured polyurethane construction adhesive, such as PL Premium. However, it has superior elastomeric properties - making it excellent for 'cast in place' bushings and shock mounts. Example: small motor mounts: Using forstner bit, drill 1-1 1/2" pockets in wood base matching motor mount holes. Using an M10 hex bolt (ideally with washer for grip) place head down/threads up in pocket - mist pocket - fill with this adhesive. Let cure 2 days. You now have shock/vibration damping mounting studs. Wonder why its black? A cheap way to get some uV resistance (at least below the surface). 5 stars In reality a GP elastomeric moisture cured polyurethane adhesive. A 'cousin' to PL-type construction adhesive
