    • Makes mixing gas really easy.
These are very handy for mixing gas for 2 stroke motors. Have 1 in the boat that I use whenever I bring gas to it. 2 more in the garage, 1 for small engine equipment and 1 for the dirt bike.

    • As Advertised But Could Be Better
I've been wanting something like this for awhile but it doesn't come up often and so out of sight out of mind until now. If you have any 2-stroke equipment (and due to pollution laws and ever better battery powered options these are phaseing out) then you'll appreciate having these around as it makes mixing proper fuel rations easy. I have no complaints about the product. It's just that it could be better and a better value. First, at $15, for what are basically two plastic jars made out of poly-ethylene, same plastic as soda bottles, they are pricey. Second, they're exactly the same. It would be better if one were smaller and enabled easily mixing smaller quantities or at least had different measuring marks on the side. I've gone mostly electric except for a chain saw and I only mix a quart of fuel at a time so a smaller container would be better for me. Thirdly, why not have a way to easily pour out the liquid? Fourthly, why not make them out of a plastic that can withstand storing gas and oil. These are 'for measuring only' so I assume if you leave any oil inside it may break down the plastic over time. ... show more

Definitely easy to read, the boat motor apparently likes the correct gas/oil mix as measured by this. Will see how it holds up but at this price I'll just get two more.

    • Nice container, a bit hard to read
I have been using bottles like this for years to mix gas for small outboard engines. I typically can only find the opaque soft plastic bottles. They are great until they start to get gummy soft and the letters rub off the outside. Nice thing about the opaque design is that numbers can still be easily read when you have colored oil in the bottle. These bottles are clear and have a wide mouth with an easy to use screw on lid. The graphics are nice when new, and only time will tell if they hold up over multiple uses. You get a 2 pack for $15 which is a good price. I took off 1 star because the clear bottles have fine printed measuring indicators that can be hard to read once the inside is coated in oil. Especially since many of the outboard oils are colored blue which makes it even harder. ... show more
