I started looking into red light therapy caps after experiencing postpartum hair loss and wanting something to help encourage regrowth. This one is FDA cleared and seemed reasonably priced compared to some of the much more expensive options out there. First impressions were good. The cap is super lightweight, comes with a convenient carry bag, and the user manual is clearly written and easy to follow. I also appreciated that the box clearly explains which skin tones and hair loss types the device is intended for. One thing I was initially worried about was fit since I have a bigger head, but it actually fit me just fine. The cap mainly covers the front and top of the scalp rather than the back, that’s usually where hair thinning/loss is more noticeable anyway. My main complaint is that the charging/setup isn’t the most intuitive. You charge the battery pack separately, and when using the cap, it has to stay connected to the battery pack. Because of that, this isn’t really a “wear it and walk around” kind of hat. That said, finding 30 minutes to wear it wouldn’t be difficult. It’s obviously too early for me to speak to long-term results yet, but I’m hopeful and looking forward to seeing improvement.

This item broke after a few uses. The company won't respond to any of my emails asking for help on fixing it or refunding under their warranty. I'll reach out to Amazon next but if you are looking for one of these, I would avoid this company that claims they have good customer service because they don't and their product doesn't work.

I bought this at the beginning of summer when I was worried that my thinning hair would be more obvious so it has been about 5 months of product use. First let me say that this is not a “quick fix” as it took about a month before I even noticed any change. But slowly I did start to notice less hair in the shower and a new growth of light fuzzy hair that started to fill in. I still use hair building fibers to give the look of a fuller head of hair but maybe in a few more months I won’t. The 3 pictures are my initial pic, 2 months in, and 4 months. It’s easy to use and only 30 minutes a session. I’m glad I found a non surgical, non prescription way to address my hair issue.

Overall, this product is very good. It comes with a high-quality carrying case, which is a nice bonus. When I wear it, it feels loose enough to be comfortable and does not cause any discomfort. So far, I am happy with the product and the overall experience.
