Initially, this was the prefect kit. Honestly, gets the job done. Although I did have some leggy seedlings. ( maybe this is due to the tall dome) 2 cons. I’m almost to week 3 and one of the white lights quit working and another is flickering. Second, how come the seedling pods do not have a hole in bottom so they can absorb the water from the tray? That’s all. I rarely, if ever, write reviews. But I’m just bitter about the light situation. Is this a one time use kit? I had hoped to use it multiple times

After 6 days the LED grow lights quit working. I replaced the USB power supply and they came back on. The power supply provided with the kit would get hot to the touch. I assume it quit working because of this. Too much of a hassle to send all of it back to Amazon.

Received just over a week ago and so far I'm pretty impressed. Package came undamaged and packed well. Although there are no instructions, you don't really need any if you take a minute to look it over. Only difficulty was figuring out I had to remove the plastic discs from the top to attach the lights. Once I did that, everything went great. I've kept both trays in my unheated garage for the first week after planting my seeds since the temps weren't that cold. Didn't take a look for a week as I figured it would take some time to have the seeds do anything. With a severe cold spell coming up, I went out yesterday to bring them in the house so they wouldn't freeze. To my surprise, I had multiple sprouts popping up! The tops are really light plastic so be careful handling them as I would surmise that they can damage easily. But I like the height of them as others I looked at were much shorter. The taller ones will allow me to keep the young plants in the trays a bit longer to establish before I replant later. Overall, so far so good and I would definitely recommend!
