I had bought these to use on my balcony attached to the lighted garland. I was all excited and pinned them up. We had some rain and then they looked all spotted which I didn't think about since they were velvet feeling. I mean the description says weatherproof! The back is weatherproof but who wants a spotted red bow when you originally want a solid one? That's probably on me for not thinking it all the way through...but cute bows, as long as you have them completely covered, or don't mind the spottiness and drying out. :)

These arrive flat and folded up, with the tails wrapped around the top part. You'll spend a LONG time straightening them out, fluffing them, etc. And after all that, you'll need to add your own, stronger wire for outdoor display or they'll be gone with the first puff of wind, if not before. It looks like wire, but is more like just a thin strip of foil. After all the time I spent getting them ready to hang, I came across last year's bows in the garage and used them instead.

These are made with beautiful outdoor ribbon, but they arrived wrinkled and are of the material that will not tolerate ironing. :-(

I browsed and read reviews for dozens of bows and I took a chance on this. I love it. It does come mashed and oblong but there is wire in the ribbon so it didn't take much to fluff it out, adjust it and it looks amazing. I've bought 2 sets already. I will probably buy a third set.
