Nice solution as an alternative to wood based mulch. Worked perfectly around our shrubs in front our home. Be careful, as these do tare easily during placement. Get it close as possible to its final location prior to unrolling, and/or have two people to shift it into place.

We bought these as a permanent mulch solution. We were tired of having to replace fading mulch and spraying and pulling weeds. I wish they were brown but black will do. I'll have to update the review on durability. It took 15 of them. My dad does flooring so cutting and placing them wasn't difficult for him but it took him about 7 hrs to do.

I have mixed feelings on this because the appearance is great, the durability has lasted well over a year now, but there are so many metal pieces in the mulch that have cut my feet. This is NOT good for walking on. It makes sense as it's made from old car tires. I didn't expect myself and my pets to have issues walking across it. I would only use this in an area that you do NOT plan on walking. I have moved mine from the back of my house to the side where no one walks.

One rubber rips, easier even by mistake then cutting. Thin weed block is not attached to the bottom of the mulch and easily separates. Tears up easy and likely 20% will end up in your garbage can.
