So I ordered the two pack with the small handheld remover and the larger one with the long handle. The handheld one is amazing! I was actually appalled at how much fur I got off my stairs with it ! The long handle one has a design flaw - the base with the scraper on it doesn't lock into place so it constantly rotates with makes it considerably less effective than if it were stationary like the hand held one. I ended up modifying the connector so that the head couldn't move and it worked much better. If you have pets these things are a must for the fur

The small handheld one works just fine. In fact, it works like the other one I had. I wanted a broom like one, and the only one I could find that was affordable was this one. The broom style is not that great. It bends and feels like it's gonna break when you press down to get the animal hair out of the carpet. If you don't press, it just skims the carpet and doesn't pick up anything. Even when pressing down, it skips and doesn't pick up all the animal hair. If you're looking for a broom, hard pass. If you're looking for a handheld only, there's cheaper alternatives.

My partner and I own a Husky, an Australian Cattle Dog, and a mix of the two breeds. Our house is always covered in dog hair. We have a big area rug in our living room that we have never been able to get clean. We have tried vacuuming, sweeping, and moon-walking over it with sneakers to pull up the hair; nothing worked. These carpet rakes have come to the rescue. It is so quick and easy to clean up every piece of dog hair on the rug, and I use the miniature one in my truck. 10/10 recommend.
