I bought this so that my child could use my old iPad for a tutoring program. They required a paper like screen protector. This thing gave new life to my iPad. I was very skeptical about how adding a matte protector onto an already scratched up screen would go but it has transformed it into a new tablet! Videos and pictures look great because it reduces glare. I'm just using it for recreational purposes and I'm very happy. Installation was tricky until I watched the video. I love it. I love how it sounds. If you dont like the grainy feel than I dont think a paper like screen protector is for you. Although, when I get into my drawings. I kinda just forget about it. I love it. I feel that my screen is protected, Ive dropped my iPad twice already since putting it on which is strange because I didn't stop it befroe but you know. Guess I just have butterfingers. Even after dropping it, there are no cracks or scratches on the screen. Instalation - im gonna be honest. I read the instructions and I still had some issues but honestly. Ill call it user error. Im not picky about the air bubbles if any because when the screen is on I cant even tell they're there unless I look at it in a specific angle. The dust stickers worked as expected along with the cloth to clean the screen. I know some people talking about "the rainbow effect" I dont see that with this screen protector at all, but you know everyone is different. So if youre looking for a cheap and reliable screen protector. This is the one for you. I enjoy the sound it makes when using my apple pencil on it. And I love the quality and how well it was packaged to me. Delivery was only a day also if that's important information for anyone lol. ... show more

Very cheap, but also it is actually cheap so,,,,, you get what you paid for. The main issue that made me nope out and take it off was whenever you did ANYTHING on it, it would leave a mark. It fit well and was easy to put on but idk if it was worth the it.

    • Initial impression - outstanding
This will be a long one so TL;DR: easy to install and a complete game-changer when it comes to drawing on my iPad. I will say I was compelled to leave this review pretty much immediately after installation, so I can’t speak to the durability of the protector at this time. I will update the review in the future to reflect this. That being said, the instructions provided with the protectors are very clear and easy to follow, and includes a link to a demonstration video which also makes it easy. I also had no issues removing the bubbles that happened when I first installed it, and they have a process for this that is explained in the instructions. One of them was stubborn because there was a piece of dust that had snuck underneath, but using the provided dust-removal stickers on the underside of the protector where the lint was stuck easily removed it without damaging the sticky side of the protector. It still adheres to the screen perfectly and when I was done it was completely bubble-free. The texture with using an Apple Pencil is in a word: incredible. I use procreate on the iPad which has pressure-based stroke and opacity features, and the added resistance of the screen protector makes these features even more life-like and intuitive. Shading and sketching in procreate immediately became easier and elevated the quality of my work instantly. I now find it so much easier to use good drawing practices (stable, smooth lines, cross-hatching all improved drastically). My main concern that I will be looking out for is scratching. I bought fine-tip metal Apple Pencil tips to use in conjunction with this which makes me think it will wear down and scratch the surface faster than the regular Apple Pencil tip. The combination of these two devices has taken the drawing on the iPad over the top, but I don’t want to have to replace the protector so often that it becomes a chore. However, so far even pushing full pressure with the metal tip I have not had any issues with scratching. Overall, if you are curious about a paper-feel screen protector, this seems to be an incredibly easy to use, cost effective option that makes a noticeable difference. I love the screen protector, it works so well for note taking. It was super easy to install and it fits my iPad perfectly. So far, the durability is good. I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
