These batteries are a quality addition/replacement for the original battery for compatible Black & Decker tools. I have been using them in my cordless drill. My original battery has been slowing down a little due to age so I was happy to see high-capacity replacements available at a good value. They function just as the original battery. These batteries charge reasonably quickly. It is nice to not only have backup batteries but a second charger as well. The charger is easy to connect and see the status via the lights on the charging unit. These batteries are rated at twice the capacity of my original battery (3.0 amp-hours vs. 1.5 amp-hours). These batteries provide pretty long-lasting power but I don't think as much as claimed. However, they provide enough power to finish any reasonable job for the typical DIYer. I imagine a swap and recharge would be needed by professional users. I would recommend these batteries for replacement or backup power for compatible B&D tools.

I got this two pack of Utrbatt batteries to use with my Black and Decker drill. Having extra batteries on hand is always better than juggling just one, especially for longer projects. Starting with the good. The plastic housing on these battery packs feels comparable to the original Black and Decker batteries. They fit properly in the drill and the drill runs exactly as expected. There are no connection or fitment issues. The included charger is a slow charger, which is not a negative for me. It charges reliably and does what it is supposed to do. I also like that the charging housing can be detached from the charger itself. On top of that, you get two batteries for less than the cost of a single OEM battery. Now for the downside. Another reviewer has already taken one of these apart, so I will not repeat that here. Instead, I focused on a capacity test. I fully charged one battery and applied a one amp load using a tester. The test started at a little over 20 volts, and I stopped it at 15 volts to avoid damaging the pack. The test ran for about an hour and a half. The measured capacity came out to 1554 mAh, or about 1.5 amp hours. To be sure, I fully recharged the battery and ran the same test again. The results were nearly identical, right around 1.5 amp hours. That is roughly half of the stated capacity. That said, the original battery that came with my drill was also rated at 1.5 amp hours and it has worked fine for my needs. These batteries are usable and perform as expected in the drill, but it is important to know that the actual capacity is lower than advertised. Whether they are still a good value depends on your expectations and how you plan to use them.

So these are pretty good batteries they charge like they're supposed to and they work well, The plastic casing is a little bit thinner than the original OEM batteries but not so bad that you feel like they're going to break if you drop them or anything. They fit perfectly and run the drill just like they're supposed to, in the drill they snap in place and have the release just like the OEM batteries, The charger goes on even easier it just sticks on the end of the battery right on the terminals, has a LED light on it that flashes green while charging solid green when charged and flashes red if something's wrong, which is good because the batteries themselves have no indicator for their own battery life. The battery life on these is specified on the bottom to be 3000 MAH the only way that works is if they're counting both batteries on the label they are better than my OEM 1500 MAH battery which is 10 years old but not by much so assuming that battery is still somewhat close to its original capacity these are probably around 1800 mAh apiece. Also weighing these batteries the original OEM one which is 1500 MAH weighs more than these do by a little bit That's also a good indicator they do not have the capacity as stated. It's very useful having an extra couple batteries that brings us up to six we don't use that drill very often but when we do it's handy. Great deal for a two pack with a charger we're happy with it.
