I bought the pair of these 3.0AH batteries to use with the Black and Decker Alligator Chainsaw which came with a 1.5AH battery. That battery is fine for small jobs but ran out of power while doing on some major tree limb cutting my wife and I have been doing. They've now been used for several days since purchasing, with multiple recharges on each, and they work great. Usually using just one of the batteries, it will still be going when I've needed to take a break. Just today on one battery I made at least 20 cuts through 3 to 4 inch diameter limbs plus at least as many and likely more cuts on 1 to 1.5 inch branches and when I decided to quit for the day, the battery was still going, though maybe starting to show signs of running down. The batteries fit the Alligator Chainsaw perfectly, just like the battery that came with the saw and though rated at twice the power added very little/not noticeable weight to the saw. The batteries I received though do not have LEDs showing the charge state as described, but I consider this minor as I make sure they're fully charged before starting any job with them.

At first I was disappointed. I charged the batteries over night before using hit the run time of my black and decker string trimmer wasn’t much better than with the old, failing batteries. BUT, I charged them again after use and viola! The run time is greatly increased! Enough to trim the whole back yard-and there’s a lot of trimming back there. I recommend using these batteries (and be sure to give them a second chance if they underperform after a first charge).

The batteries performed well after being fully charged and they were reasonably priced. They worked fine with my black and decker blower and weed wacker and held their charge until I completed trimming and edging the grass and blowing the debris off of the street and sidewalk.
