I had been using a metal strainer to help prevent problems with a small shower drain. The drain protector or screen had become rusty and out of shape from repeated use in the shower. When I saw this two-pack of shower drain protectors on Amazon, I took a chance that they'd stick and work for this shower. I was somewhat tempted to order the pink ones, but opted for the gray instead. I like that these shower drain protectors are made of non-toxic silicone. The drain protector stays in place well enough, over the main drain, and prevents hair and other debris from going down the drain (which can lead to shower water back-ups). I like the look of the gray color of the drain protector in the shower. (I photographed it on the diagonal, but it's easy to change its direction.) I bought this to cover our shower drain and catch hair so it didn't clog the drain so much. Overall, it is a good product, but it would be nice of the suction cups were better at staying suctioned. They come loose very easily with the water pressure and I have to readjust it back over the open drain. It also needs to be switched out every few months or so because it gets moldy and gross. It's flexible, light and cheap and gets the job done though, so I would still recommend it to a friend. ... show more

These have worked really great and look cute at the bottom of the tub. They do slide a little if your drain is right over the facet, but after a while it's more secure. I shed a lot and used to have a lot of trouble with clogged drains, but now I don't need to worry about that. Should fit any tub.
