These fit well and work well. The plastic they are made from doesn't seem to be of very good quality ,so I don't know if they can withstand rough treatment like the tool being dropped on a hard surface with the battery attached. They are an economical way to get more life from an older tool that replacement batteries are not available for or too expensive. They are also great if you have ended up with several tool brands and want the convenience of only having to keep one brand of spare batteries on hand.

These work good, 20 volt batteries click in and removal is not a sticky battle like the first temu ones that I had bought, getting more life out of my Dewalt drills, impacts have way more lug nut removing torque than with the rebuilt 18 volt batteries that I spent way to much money on having 6 of them rebuilt a few years back. I got a large battery for my 1/2 inch impact, now it will remove lug nuts from the trailers and pickups [not semi's]. Only draw back is the extended size that it adds if you use them every day on a construction job, if that's the issue then buy all new 20 volt ones that are usually smaller size and have more torque than the old model 18's. The main problem is these have become so popular that you can't find the cheap priced 18's at the pawn shops anymore.

Honestly I can’t see how this could work any better than it does. Stays in place in the tool due to spring loaded clips. As easy to add and remove from the tool as the original battery. Gave new life to my 20 year old vacuum that I had been missing while it was collecting dust in the garage, honestly it was like a barn find, a quick wipe down and with this adapter in place it’s as good as new! Here is what you need to know, this is NOT for the huge (long run) 20v batteries, so don’t try them! Even the DeWalt made adapters do not support the large batteries either but contain “ears” to prevent them from being inserted, these do not have ears but you still should not use them with these adapters as problems can result. It’s not the adapter’s fault it is too much power for these legacy tools. Stay with the smaller batteries and you will be fine. Second thing, don’t leave these adapters in the tool with the battery inserted as it will drain your battery. All and all a very good purchase that comes with a 1 year warranty. I love my new ;) vacuum!

This adapter was inexpensive yet it works and fits perfectly. I have used others where it has been hard to remove them, but these work and seem to be as high quality as a regular De Walt would. I use a number of higher capacity 20 volt batteries, but have a number of older tools so the battery capacity is increased without damage to the tool. I still have a tool or two that use the older style battery, but will switch them over using these adapters when the batteries get weaker. I recommend these because they actually fit better than others I have used and work as well as the De Walt OEM.
