I love these little tables so much! First of all they look nice, almost like they could be part of my new couch. Also, I love that the legs are on springs so they can adapt to fit different size couch/chair arms and they feel very stable - they're not wobbly at all. They fit perfectly on our couch and the size is perfect for a snack and a drink or even a small meal. So much more convenient than tv trays and so much easier to move around. These feel very high quality, they don't look cheap at all. I absolutely love this idea and these are great little tables that I highly recommend!

I will start by saying that our couch has a HUGE armrest. It's been very hard for us to find anything that works or fits like this. It's stable when it's on and has plenty of room for drinks, food, whatever you want to use with it. The problem we ran into is that some of the screws holding the hinges on were not tightened down and were a major scratch/snag risk for our couch. A screwdriver fixed this up pretty quickly, but is just an example of minimal time being spent on finishing. The bigger issue is that the springs on this thing are SUPER tight, so if you pull them off of the couch or they get knocked off, the snap they make is extremely startling, especially to our chihuahua, lol. It will also snap your finger pretty good if you're not paying attention. Overall, they are handy, but, you'll want to check the screws and be aware of the spring tension before clamping it onto your furniture.

This armrest-table represents a fair value proposition, and with the exception of the paint job being just a slight bit inconsistent (visible in some of my pics), the workmanship doesn't leave much to be desired, everything is well sanded and the hardware is secured firmly. These pics show the table performing exactly as everyone hopes, the spring-loaded arms make for a sufficiently strong grip to provide a stable platform for my movie snacks. My recliner in this picture is the perfect application for this great little table --- but yours might not be! Because this recliner is leather and the arms are formed tightly, it gives the spring-loaded table legs a secure base to squeeze against. If you have a recliner or sofa with large pillow like armrests that have a lot of play in them (I do have such a sofa), then the plush/loft of the armrest can overcome the strength of the securing legs, resulting in the table becoming subject to the remaining play of the armrest. In that case, putting any weight on the table can cause the armrest "pillow" to shift in position and potentially dump the contents of the tray. To be fair I don't see an easy way to engineer against this issue, so I toss this out as a simple caveat: Before you buy, think about specifically where you intend to use this. A soft, plush, pillow-like armrest is a poor choice, but if you have a firmer armrest, you will likely enjoy this enhancement to your reclining experience as much as I do.

These natural colored bamboo armrest trays are solidly constructed, nice to look at, and highly functional. As is often the case they package in a more compact form than expected but the "spring arm" design makes that natural. To attach to a couch arm you simply spread the spring-loaded arms and just like that you have a snug, secure mini table-top. The spring loading is fairly strong, which could potentially lead to a mousetrap effect, snapping on a finger or hand if not careful. The more likely annoyance is the tendency for the arms to loudly snap back against the tabletop when removed from couch arm. This is mitigated somewhat by the rubber grip pads featured on the arms and tabletop bottom. Despite that design shortcoming, I really like the sturdy attachment of the hinges--by four screws on each side. This construction gives me confidence in the longevity of these very handy tabletops

I have been looking at these for a long time and glad I finally ordered these. I ordered these to use in our RV for someplace to place our drinks and phones one. These will work perfectly. I am so impressed with how these tables will fit on a wide range of armrest. We have really bulky sofa armrest and these fit easily. We also have a much narrower one and they still fit. This will fit our RV sofa as well. The finish and quality of these are great. They have rubber not stick grips to help it stay in place and protect our furniture.
