  • Plenty of power
I use these batteries for dewalt tools. I have both genuine and aftermarket batteries like these. I decided to run my own test on these just to see how they compare. The most fair test I could think of was in my 20v dewalt lawn mower. It takes 2 dewalt batteries and sucks alot of juice. If you have any dewalt tools that simultaneously run 2 batteries at once, you'll understand that both batteries drain together and the tool only runs until the 1st battery dies. Test #1 I put in one of these 6.5ah aftermarket batteries in one of the mower slots. In another slot I put a genuine 5.0ah dewalt battery. Then, I cut my lawn for about 20 minutes before the mower died. I knew 1of the batteries had died. I was happy to see that the 5.0ah genuine battery was the culprit and was dead. I put in another genuine dewalt battery in the dead spot and ran the mower for maybe another 2 minutes before the aftermarket. 6.5 ah died. Im not sure if everyone would be happy with that result, but i was. It ran a little longer than the genuine 5.0ah dewalt as I hoped-for. My #2 test was the other 6.5 ah aftermarket battery vs a 6.0ah aftermarket battery I already own. Again, they ran the mower for about 20 minutes. Both batteries died at same time this time. ... show more

  • Decent Batteries for the cost
First of all I was happy to realize that once the batteries arrived they were not orange as shown on the listing but mimic the Dewalt default yellow coloring. Seems silly but if you stick an orange battery on a Dewalt tool then questions get asked when seen by others so glad they were the similar yellow in color. They were accepted on my OEM charger and charged to full capacity. So all the discussion about whether they are actually 6.5ah battery seem valid. Just by weight alone and longevity after first charge cycle I would put them at closer to 5.0ah. Each battery performed similarly. So now that we have gotten that out of the way the discussion becomes for the price paid for these two batteries is it worth purchasing? In my book the answer is Yes!! They last long enough to use, swap out, and re-charged the second one and you can keep working along. So the remaining question becomes how long they last over time. At first usage they seem to be a great purchase but only time will tell how they stand up over months of usage. I will come back and update my review if anything unexpected occurs but if these last a year at the current levels then I feel they are a good buy for the purchase price. ... show more

  • 6.5 amp 20v battery for dewalt
These are a nice battery upgrade for dewalt 20v battery tools for a fraction of the price compared to the dewalt brand they fit perfectly into my dewalt tools an hold charge way longer than the 2 amp batteries that came with the tools they also have a battery meter on them which is nice as its very irritating to climb way up a ladder an shot 1 screw before your battery is dead lol so the meter definitely helps with that also obviously these being 6.5 amp batteries they are a bigger battery however they are fairly light for there size an still feel balanced well enough in any of my tools so overall I say these are a great buy for the money ... show more

  • Some serious safety issues inside
TLDR: Due to a serious safety issue and the misrepresented capacity I simply cannot recommend this product. These are cheap; you get two of them just a little more moeny than a single DEWALT branded 4.0 amp hour battery (that comparison wasn't a mistake). With off-brand batteries you should expect some corners to be cut but you should still expect a safe product. I went ahead and opened one of these and I was quite disappointed by some serious issues one of them related to product safety. This is a real shame since the design was excellent (they even had a wire harness to route the balance leads) but the quality control failed badly. You'll see in my photos that one of the soldered leads for a battery had been detached and folded back, likely during insertion into the housing. This is a serious safety issue and if inserted into a grinder, a saws-all, or similar high-amperage device it could lead to a further contact failure. This secondary failure would route all power through a single battery cell and potentially could overload the cell causing an explosion or a fire. At best, your battery will die early. The second issue is visible on my other photo. The cells are "BTW INR18650" cells rated at 20C. I have no reason to distrust these individual cells, but with 10 of these cells having 7.4 watt hours each, this is a 4 amp hour battery (calculated at the proper nominal 18.5 volts) which is substantially lower than the advertized 6 amp hours. ... show more

  • Low cost replacement battery, but well less than the stated Ah rating
I got a two pack of these Lizone batteries for just $65, so I wasn’t expecting real 6.5Ah batteries, but these fall well short of that mark at around 4.0Ah, if that. Still, given the price per battery, they’ll come in handy given all the tools and other accessories I have such as a fan and a power inverter. They fit well and charge as expected. ... show more

  • They Work on DeWalt Tools and Charger
I have owned Lizone batteries before and have generally found them to be dependable in addition to being a value compared to OEMs. I can't speak to the mAh issue, since I didn't disassemble the battery to see what is inside. All I can relate is my experience with these two batteries: they arrived nearly fully charged at 18.5 volts and fully charged on a DeWalt charger. They work fine on my DeWalt drill and circular saw. I don't know about longevity and will report back if I find any issues in that regard. But, on the face of it, I see no reason not to purchase these over OEM batteries. They are cheaper, they charge and they work. ... show more

  • Big beefy batteries as a value replacement or as backups
These batteries have worked very well in my Dewalt tools, and thanks to these, I have a depth of batteries to choose from and don't worry about running out in the course of a day. These definitely last longer than the smaller batteries that came with my dewalt set. Good value for the price!
