This stuff works great! So many products out there it's easy to feel overwhelmed! Gave this one a try and I'm beyond happy with it! I have a truck frame I'm working on that had heavy scale rust on the top rails, flaky rust and paint in areas, old paint in other areas. Hot everything with a wire wheel and applied this product. Goes on easy, coats well, a little goes a long ways. After it dries it leaves a clean flat black color that looks to have great adhesion over all different kinds of rust. I'm going to go over it with an enamel paint but, will leave a small area uncovered so I can watch how it ages. Highly recommend! Also, easy clean up with water!

I really like this paint. It works very well with lightly rusted steel and no prep work was needed. I had several spots of extremely rusted and flaking metal, and I scraped away the thin flakes and as much of the loose rust as would come off with a worn out metal brush, then applied 2 coats over the top using a small painting brush. It dries to a matte chalk board grey/black color. I have done several spots on my frame and a bunch of places along body seams and all have worked well. I had a lot of rust in the rain gutter, and I poured this in there and used a brush to move it around. A couple of places where I applied the coating had rust poke back through, but another couple of coats and it was fixed. This bucket will go a long way.

My piles look so much better. I used fracking poles to stand up poles. It says sand and all of this! But I just put them on top of my poles and it looks amazing right now I’m trying to paint 14 , 14 foot tall fracking poles so I cut them in half that means 7 quantity 31-32foot poles. So I don’t know I’ve done about half and I’m going to be close but this gives a great idea of how well it works and how long it will last. Easy to use its paint! Works great it is impressive. Keep in mind I need more time to get it all done but I will do what I can! I’ll have to see in a year how it’s going.

It works well. It is pretty thin but I was spraying it with a paint sprayer hooked to my air compressor so this viscosity was a plus for me. I was painting a rusty squeeze shoot for cows. I had to buy the large 70oz size and ended up having to buy two of these containers and I had around a pint left. I followed that with Krylon's implement paint. I did have to think it out with mineral spirits to get it to work in my sprayer. So far it's been a success.

My backyard is full of various metal fixtures from shutting down a business. I had no place to store it other than outside. Various racks and shelving units started to rust and corrode. I coated the damaged areas with this primer paint. It was easy to brush on in light coats. The material is not too runny or thick and applies fairly evenly. It takes several hours to dry completely. Hopefully this will prevent or slow down further rusting damage. The price seems to be a bit on the high side. However, it may be well worth it if it stops or prevents further damage.
