I used this after my abdominal surgery. The one the surgeon put on my was mostly elastic and bunched up all the time. They had to put it on really tight to provide enough support and it would wrinkle alot. After time the wrinkles all felt like they were on fire, digging into my skin. I switched to this one and it felt so much better. I am only 5'4'', so I did not wear the hip portion. It was comfortable and provided the support I needed. The nurse was very impressed with the design and asked where I got it. The different panels allow the binder to shape to your curves while providing appropriate support - the binder they had was more square. When you open this package, it comes with instructions on how to put it on. I highly recommend. I bought 2 others.

This is advertised for postpartum, but I could not handle putting this on with my c-section recovery. I did not take a video because I returned it immediately.

This thing was way better than what I got in the hospital..It was adjustable and easy to move to the compression I needed. It was so much more comfortable than the faja and it did the job.

Pros: Easy to put on by yourself, comfortable, very supportive, easy to wear under clothing I purchased this for support after a robotic total hysterectomy. I began wearing the belly band after the third day and it eased my pain, made moving around more comfortable and my swelling decreased noticeably after just one day. As this is my second abdominal surgery in 4 months I plan to wear it for the next month or so to help facilitate a smoother healing process. I only wish I had bought one after the first surgery.
