Description

Unlike traditional goggles that split the screen, DroneMask 2 incorporates a patented Unibody lens technology that allows you to enjoy a full-screen resolution. This means you won't experience the split-screen effect that can diminish the image quality and immersion. The DroneMask 2 improves on its predecessor with access holes and removable neoprene flaps for screen interaction while blocking light. It includes cables for USB-C and Micro USB drone controllers. Its lighter color reduces heat absorption in sunlight. What's the difference from VR? DroneMask uses the full screen for a 2D cinematic experience. Unlike VR goggles that split the screen and need special apps, lowering resolution, DroneMask's unibody optical solution provides 4x better resolution and works with all mobile apps. Which drones and controllers does the DroneMask fit with? The DroneMask is compatible with all camera drones that use an external screen fitting the DroneMask lid. It suits models from DJI, Autel, Hubsan, Skydio, Xiaomi, Parrot, EXO, Fifish, SwellPro, Ruko, etc. For best use, try controllers like DJI RC-N1. Which phones are compatible with the DroneMask? The DroneMask is compatible with most phones or screens that are not wider than 78.1 mm and no longer than 170 mm. This includes, but is not limited to, all models of iPhone, and Samsung S6, S7, S8, and S8 Edge. Does it fit glasses? Yes! The DroneMask fits well with glasses if they have single-vision lenses but does not work well with progressives. Progressives offer multiple prescription strengths within one lens, while single-vision lenses have only one prescription strength. What's in the box? The DroneMask 2 comes with 1 USB-C to USB-C cable, 1 USB-C to Lightning cable, and 1 USB-C to USB-C female adapter. The latter should be used with the drone controller’s proprietary cable. DroneMask The Ultimate FPV Camera Drone Experience In 2021, YouTubers began experimenting with using our AR mask (MagiMask) to fly drones. And the results were remarkable, leading many drone pilots to adopt the AR mask to fly FPV. The pilots shared their experiences on their social media, and more and more people started using the goggles to fly FPV. DroneMask lets the pilot fly camera drones in immersive FPV using a smartphone. Thanks to our patented unibody lens, we offer 4x increased resolution compared to conventional split-screen headsets. No third-party apps needed. Visit the Store

  • perfect goggles for Mini 2/3
it works well. Easy to use, just connect your cellphone to your RC and put it into the goggles. Zip up and lets go..:-) It's a budget version of the fency DJI goggles V2, much cheaper and similar immersive feeling when flying. I actually think these goggles are better to have than the DJI ones, as you won't be dealing with compatibility issues (DJI can cancel support of your drone or release some firmware update to mess with your compatibility between drone and goggles etc). With this product, you won't have that headache! any potential cons? well, the goggles are kinda huge. so little more pain to travel with (compared to for example DJI Goggles 2). But the goggles work well, they do what there were designed for, and are actually pretty comfortable to have them on. I wouldnt recommend watching movies or anything like that using them. But for flying your drone to see the screen so much better, without sun and daylight interference, its the way to go. btw, no problem to have your glasses on, while using the goggles. Easy peasy..:-) ... show more

  • Happy with quality and function
This solved the issue of my cell screen being unseeable in sunlight. I wear glasses, and it fits comfortably over them. I have a Moto G Power cell (big and heavy) and it fits well. Only improvement I see would be a way to pop the zippered hatch open quickly (like a velcro tab?) to see immediate surroundings. If you don't wear glasses you can just lift the whole mask up, so only an issue for folks like me. Everything seems well made and the cable extensions provided are excellent. ... show more

  • Foam padding
Does not fit my face very well, hurts after few minutes even with strap adjustments. Perhaps better foam padding for future version. Defogger fan for lenses would be a bonus. Flaps for touch screen access works well.

  • Exactly as described. Nice product.
The good: simple to set up. No addtional app. YoutubeTV and Netflix can be watched and that is a bonus. I purchased to upgrade my drone experience. Check that box. The Done Mask 2 made it possible to see where I am going from a birds eye view. Amazing. For the price, not bad. The bad: little heavy with mobile phone causing a little strain/pressure on face around nose and back of next. Not something I could use for hours. Also, the C connection wire provided failed. My first use was with the 5 inch cable to connect my mobile phone to the drone controller. This is to be used in hand and. The Done Mask 2 to enjoy, a user would need a 24" or 36" cable. Because my cable Drone Mask 2 provided was defective, I had to resort to a controller about 2" from the Drone Mask 2. Hoping this message makes it to the MFG, who seem like soem nice guys who came up with a good idea. Overall I like the Drone mask 2 and recommend it. ... show more

  • Totally Changes the FPV Experience (In a Good Way)
I’ve been using the DroneMask 2 for a little while now, and I have to say — it really impressed me. I got it mostly out of curiosity, wondering if it could make flying with my phone feel more immersive. Now that I’ve used it a few times, I don’t think I’ll go back to just staring at my screen. Surprisingly Comfortable First off, the mask is actually comfortable to wear. It looks big in photos, but once it’s on, it fits well and doesn’t feel heavy. The padding is soft and doesn’t dig in anywhere, and there’s enough adjustment to get a snug but not annoying fit. I’ve worn it for longer sessions (20+ minutes) without it bothering me at all. Incredible Immersion This is where it really shines. It turns your phone into a giant FPV screen — no splitting the image or VR-style weirdness. It’s just your full phone display, magnified and super clear. It honestly makes flying way more immersive. You get that locked-in, “in the cockpit” feeling without needing to buy an expensive set of FPV goggles. Works with Most Apps I use it with DJI Fly, and it works great. You just drop your phone in, line it up, and you’re good to go. No extra setup or pairing — the experience is simple but effective. You can still use the touch screen if you need to tap something quickly, but in general, once you’re in the air, you don’t need to touch anything. Image Quality The optics are clean and sharp. I was worried it might distort the image or feel blurry around the edges, but it’s surprisingly clear. Obviously, it depends a bit on your phone’s screen resolution, but if you’ve got a halfway decent phone, it looks fantastic. A Few Small Things It’s not for everyone. If you need to check your surroundings a lot while flying, popping the mask off and on isn’t as quick as just glancing at your screen. Also, there’s no built-in fan or anything like that, so on really hot days, it can get a bit warm inside. But those are small trade-offs considering how much better it makes the flying experience. Final Thoughts If you’re flying with your phone and want a more immersive experience without jumping straight into full FPV goggles, DroneMask 2 is 100% worth it. It’s well-built, surprisingly comfortable, and just makes flying more fun. I didn’t expect to like it this much, but now it’s my go-to for any relaxed flight session. ... show more

  • Best way to turn your regular drone into an FPV drone.
This product contains no electronics. It turns your cell phone into a FPV or VR headset. It is extremely well made and works extremely well. My iPhone 15 Pro Max fits inside, even with Otterbox armor on. The result is a headset with an image that is superior to my DJI Goggles 3. I can wear reading glasses with it, but it extends pretty far, allowing me to use it without my glasses. Its very comfortable to wear despite my heavy phone, stays put and blocks out light, even the little finger ports that allow you to touch the phone screen do a great job blocking out the light. I was very skeptical of this product, and I tried every way I could think of to add a USB/HDMI headset to my drone but nothing was compatible. This is a very easy solution that really works very well and, in my opinion, is worth the relatively high price. ... show more

  • Poor design, Cheap materials Poor design, Cheap materials
Cheaply made for the price. The plastic part that holds your phone secure is very flimsy and mine broke the second time using it. I contacted the seller about it, but nothing was done about it. I would have been happy with just a new plastic part which I would have tried to install myself. For the price it should have a better system to secure your phone. ... show more

  • Absolutely incredible
I did not know what expect I wear glasses and I was worried that this would not work. I have an iPhone 10 and it’s amazing. The fit over my glasses and focus was superb. The finger holes work. This is light weight. 5 stars I’m so excited to use this. Bravo to the hard work you put in it is superb TY. Y the cost was great and the camera port solves a problem of wanting to see outside the headset using the camera on my iPhone ... show more
