It's 7.6 sq ft, so it's a nice size for a small safe. It's roomy inside and the two compartments are divided by a removable shelf, each. I think I read somewhere it's supposed to be about 70 pounds. But I doubt that. But it's not light. You can always bolt it down and or put extra weight in it to make it too awkward to be carried away easily. Safe body seems to be reasonably thick, sheet metal "for what it is". I would say it would not handle a lot of heat for long in a serious fire. But, it will keep things reasonably secure in it. The red password button is hidden behind, by the door hinge. The emergency keyholes are under the black buttons of the bird symbol. Press the button on the lower half and pluck on the upper exposed edge to take it off. They're held in by two magnets. Instructions cover the rest! No matter what remember, in everythig, security is enhanced and theft is made more difficult but never fulproof. Plan accordingly! I'll see yet, how reliably it works. #....11420

The safe arrived then they put it on my porch, which was very convenient for me because it weighs a lot and I could slide it into the house. Except for finding the red button, it was unclear where it was after I found it set up was easy to set up. This is not as heavy as some other safe, but definitely worth the money.

The safe is good enough. It is NOT FireProof! It is only as fireproof as the space you put it in. Think of it as a steel box with a digital combo. I drilled through the back to secure it to a wall stud. So there you go. The face/door it good enough. If you set the safe back in a small space the door is the most formidable part of the safe. Is this the most secure safe avail? No. Is it the most expensive? No You get what you pay for. This safe is good enough for my needs If you have $20,000 in diamonds you can afford better! LOL I am satisfied with the quality.

Needed a safe for my child who is going off to college soon. After relentless researching all the safes on here, I went with this one. It is perfectly sized, not too heavy so we can move it but not so light where someone can steal it. The instructions were thorough and easy to follow. I like that there’s an extra battery pack in case the batteries die when you’re trying to open it. When you close the safe, it’s important to remember to turn the knob as the door does not automatically lock upon closing. The material is sturdy metal, and the item arrived perfectly intact with no dents or dings. Tells me this is solid material. Glad I chose this safe.

I got 7.6 cu ft. Excellent budget friendly option, very roomy, sturdy and good-looking. Hidden lockbox is a nice feature. Came very well packed, no scratches or dents. It is heavy, but one person can move it up or downstairs in the original packaging without damaging the safe. I was able to, fairly easily at that. If I had to pick, I'd say the instructions are far from clear. For example, the red button some users can't find is indeed there, but it's not in plain view and located on the inside side of each door, see the attached pictures. It would be helpful if the instructions mentioned that. Also, they include two sets of emergency keys. They are color coded black and blue but again, no explanation which door each set is for. FYI, black is for the top, blue for the bottom. However, these are just little annoying details that can make the setup unnecessarily confusing and don't reflect on the quality of the product. It may not be "bank vault" secure, but it's perfect for a home office and very attractively priced. No regrets, highly recommend

So I wrote that the back has mounting holes in a single sheet of steel. Upon further inspection, the top, bottom (which also has holes, compromising the fire and water resistance) and sides are also single sheets of steel. Apparently the 'fire and water proof' depends on a small resistant envelope good for a few sheets of paper. The 3 locking bolts slide into gold painted *plastic* cups, which I could see easily melting to the slide bolts in a fire, likely making it impossible to open. I bought some ceramic heat resistant insulation to cut and put on the inside, kind of a nuisance. I would have returned it but it would have been a pain. Probably ok for basic safety use, but if you have stuff to protect from fire and water, spend more $ and get a real safe.

Heavy duty item. Fireproof, good to store valuables. Comfortable fits into small office space. Two different sets of keys for two different entries. The lock also has lock bolts that lock into place. Ease of opening, fireproof, lock bolt, value. Highly recommend! By the way, the red button is on the inside of the edge of the door, facing the hinges.
