  • Such a fun toy
This 4WD remote control car toy is so fun and comes with music and lights. The instructions are on the box but it's not detailed. I think part of the fun is pushing the many buttons just to see what the car does. It definitely has personality and my husband turned on the music and made the car bounce to the sound. The battery was already charged enough for us to begin playing with it immediately. The four wheels allowed the car to maneuver over rough surfaces like sand, dirt, and rocks so kids can experiment with various terrain and play with a higher performance car toy. Really cute and fun car toy. ... show more

  • Very Fun
Excellent stunt car so fun to play with and also to watch. The car itself is rechargeable but the remote is not. The remote has a very cheap fill to it and it does not have any information on it as far as what each button or joy stick does, you have to refer to a diagram with the instructions. Overall very fun and would make a great gift ... show more

  • The video is awesome.
We requested this toy as a gift just on the video shown on Amazon. We have requested these type of crazy RC toys several times and never have been disappointed in the fun that is has by the kids playing with these. The ones we requested last year are incredibly tough. If this toy happens to be a disappointment, I will revisit this review at a later date. ... show more

  • Really cool remote car with rechargeable battery
In the opinion of this battery replacing veteran, the best thing about this toy is that it has a rechargeable battery. The car has really large tires so it goes everywhere without getting hung up much. Some neat lighting effects, too. Grandkids have been using this for hours and still having fun.

  • I hate it when this happens.... not cool.
When I first got this remote control (RC) car, I liked that the controller came with a pair of AA batteries and a small screwdriver for opening the battery compartment. (A screw-on battery compartment door is a great idea on a toy designed for children. An even better idea is a design that uses a "keeper" to keep the screw from falling out when it's loosed. With this unit, no such luck.) With the help of the handy screwdriver, I quickly got the included batteries into the controller. On to the vehicle itself. The on/off switch was visible enough. When I switched it on, some lights came on and the vehicle made a chirping noise. I decided to give the internal battery of the vehicle itself (not the controller, which requires AA batteries) a full charge before further experiments. Inside the box, I found a very short cable with a standard USB plug at one end and a small, round plug at the other. I searched the RC pretty thoroughly, I thought, but didn't find where the charger plug went. I then looked at the box (there was no separate instruction sheet) and found a simple diagram printed on the back showing me the plug in location. Sure enough, it was right there. I plugged the cable into the RC at one end and the other end into a USB plug receptacle (not included) that was plugged into a wall socket. The USB plug lights up when it plugs in so you can tell it's receiving a charge. That’s a useful feature you don’t often see. The car itself is a nice design that's articulated in a number of ways: the doors flap open and the rear suspension moves pretty radically. It looked like a proper offroad RC that should be loads of fun outdoors. I was impressed with the car, although the hand controller looked and felt like a cheap unit. I had also noted that the included AA batteries for the controller were a cheap looking set of off-brands. On one of them, the label was already peeling away. After the vehicle charged for a bit, I started it up again. It lit up and chirped, but I couldn't get the hand controller to do anything at all. I replaced the original batteries in the controller with better ones from my own battery supply. The result? Nothing. The controller doesn't do a thing. It's a shame. The vehicle lights up and looks pretty impressive, but not a single button on the controller worked with either pair of batteries -- and battery power is the only way to make it work. Cool vehicle but without a controller it can't go anywhere. Something else a little weird. On the box, the controller says it requires two 1.5 volt AA batteries "(not included)" -- except they were included. And maybe the original batteries worked after all. I didn't try them in anything else. Awesome looking vehicle. But without a controller it's useless. While it might be fun for a kid to play with even in its current form, it’s obvious it was meant for remote control. So I’d hate to give it to a kid as anything less. Too bad. ... show more

  • Can't reverse and turn
This RC car is a little difficult to steer. The reason I got it was because the remote appeared to have joysticks and would be easier for my kids to maneuver. This car turns left and right while moving forward by moving both the front and back wheels, and while it does work fairly decent when moving forward, you can't turn while moving backwards. You have to turn the opposite of the way you would when your driving a car. Also, if you hold left or right, the car will eventually stop moving. Better then some of the other ones in this aspect, however the remote has 5 additional buttons besides the joysticks and none of them are labeled. ... show more

  • Really fun little stunt truck
This really is fun and it can maneuver around really tight corners, wheelie, and go over obstacles. It has lots of lights on it as well. Its hilarious how the doors on it move when cornering. The large tires make it very offroadable. It can be charged via USB without having to remove the battery, which is very nice. I think its a great fun little RC car for kids. ... show more
