Bought for my son’s birthday present (bought two so there would be no fighting over the one)so him and his brother had a new pool toy for the summer. Went to go use them for the first time today 5/30 and put brand new batteries in them and they won’t pair with the remotes can’t get them to work Tried putting them in the water and the batteries got wet and now really won’t work. Not worth the money nothing but garbage who puts a battery you in water.

Love this remote control shark. I use it in my backyard pond to play with the fish. He is easy to maneuver and is pretty quick. The five stars really goes to the customer service of this company. They are AMAZING. My shark malfunctioned after only using it like 3-4 times. I wrote to the seller and they sent me another remote control shark without having to return the old one AND they didn't ask me any questions. It was an automatic, "OK, you liked the product, something went wrong, here's another."

First, it will not work if its out of the water, It has a sensor that shut off if its out of water. So the remote paired and all was fine, but we couldn't get it to work unless we put it in the water. So make sure you don't try it out of water as it does not work. The remote has 2 buttons in the front/side of the remote. The left remote does nothing, if you push it then it will break as it is hallow behind it. So don't use the left one, the right one keeps the speed low and faster, it is very slow so keep in mind that it is not a speed boat, it moves very very slow ! Lastly, Make sure the battery housing unit is sealed, I got some water in it and was able to clean it and air it out. just make sure you align the battery housing unit flush with it so it works in the future. I love the product, but it is priced very high, I would pay up to 20$ , at the time of purchase It was 33$

I was really excited to get this remote control shark, but unfortunately, it never paired with the remote—no matter how many times I followed the instructions (and even tried fresh batteries). It just sat there doing nothing. The packaging looked fine, but the product itself was completely nonfunctional.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We gave this to my 7 year old grandson. He took it camping with us and used it in the pool. This toy was a kid magnet. He made so many friends by using it in pool. Even the Dads loved it and asked me where I got it. They said I will order it today and it will be at my house when I get home.
