This was perfect no issues. I was able to use the black and decker tiller with the collection of DeWalt batteries w/o getting another Battery platform. Would recommend to any one looking for bare tool but already have a collection of DeWalt 20v Max Batteries

    • Perfect addition to toolset
This is simple, yet extremely convenient. Porter cables batteries have always lacked in quality, but they work. With this it adapter, it makes there cheaper tools perform much better and last 5-6 times as long allowing me to finish any task (without stopping to charge the battery)

Its tighty and not loose, however the reason why I took a star off was because of the quality of the plastic. Feels like a childs toy. Maybe acouple of accididental drops it could possibly shatter my theory. But will see, but really satisfied. Good to Go.👍

I purchased this adaptor so that I can use DeWalt 20V max batteries with the Black + Decker Lithium 20V Max 22” hedge trimmer (model LHT2220). The adaptor holds the DeWalt batteries securely and the adaptor fits into the tool snuggly without any play. Despite its age, the 1.5 Ah Black & Decker battery (model LBXR20) that came with my trimmer 8 years ago still works fine; however, a 1.5 Ah battery has never provided enough run time to complete projects around our yard, which meant waiting for it to recharge. With this adaptor I now use my arsenal of DeWalt 20V max batteries to keep the tool running all day. I use DCB203 (2.0 Ah), DCB204 (4.0 Ah), DCB205 (5.0 Ah). For me, the adaptor was a better option versus purchasing another Black + Decker battery since: 1) I’m already invested in the DeWalt power tool platform; and 2) the adaptor was less expensive than purchasing a new battery. I purchased the Black + Decker 22” hedge trimmer before DeWalt came out with their own 22” trimmer; however, I prefer the B+D because it is much lighter (I can operate it with one hand) and it’s less bulky.     • It's the best porter cable to DeWalt battery adapter so far
I bought a few from another seller on Amazon that just used a PCB trace to connect + and - from the DeWalt battery to the porter cable tool, and the amp draw from a flexvolt battery burned them up quick. Plus the vibration of running them on a sawzall broke the adapter. This one doesn't have those problems. I opened it up before testing it on my sawzall and this one uses large wires to connect the power terminals, plus the injection molding is a tougher plastic, uses 5 screws instead of 4. I glued the halves together before testing and it held up to the vibration and amp draw just fine ... show more
