I'll have to see what I think when the hot summer days appear. There is a slight color difference.     • Can't beat this Modular Helmet loaded with features
I'm glad I purchased from 1Storm. Modular, sun shield, front & top vents, removable padding...the works for a great price. The face latch is solid and easy to release even with light gloves. I do take off my winter gloves before trying. I wouldn't call the helmet extremely lightweight but I wouldn't want a full-face helmet to be so. I want protection. I've called customer service twice. Both times they were courteous and answered my questions. First time was to get more chin padding (L) for my XL helmet. I had it in less than a week, free of charge. The second was to ask for a recommendation for re-attaching a portion of the bottom trim (hot glue was answer). Because they offer multiple colors, I got a near perfect match for my '23 Honda Rebel 500. I like the quick-release chin strap since my bike doesn't have a helmet lock (for which a D-ring is a necessity). I just put the provided protective cover over the helmet before carrying it into work or putting in my tail box. Lots of people don't even know I "ride" to work. ... show more

Love the helmet, good value, but the vents struggle in fullface mode. I have to crack the visor to keep it from fogging up, although maybe if it gets cold enough out that might change. If you want to use in fullface mode with visor fully closed, you may want to find a helmet with more/better vents.

I have big ears that stick out from my head. For the first time I have a full-face helmet that doesn't "pinch" them. And my sunglasses slip in and out easily. Yippeee! The drop-down sunshield is very good. I added a few reflective stickers to the helmet to augment the visibility at night. I am really pleased overall. One suggestion I would make to the sellers: Since m/c helmets are only good for 5 years from the date of manufacture, they should post the manufactured date on the listing. I got such a great discount on this item that I don't care that it was already 2 years old. But it is an issue of truth in advertising that such info should be part of the advertisement. ... show more

very comfy, make sure to match head measurement's with size. Great full helmet for ALL weather. best feature is opens up to full face with one click. great for smoking or eating if needed, built in sun glass tinted lens for bright days with glair. Cheap price but pro quality. #LOVE IT

Great if you wear glasses. Nice ventilation. Better than modular helmets as you can convert on the fly for changing conditions or if you're making a short stop and don't want the hassle of removing\putting on your helmet, simply flip up the front face piece. I don't use the sun shield much but it's nice to have if I ever needed it. ... show more

I'm giving it 4 stars because it is what you would expect. I low budget helmet. If I was comparing it to other helmets regardless of price I would rate it a 2 or 3 star. For the price it is decent because it is inexpensive. I bought this as a 2nd helmet for my sons to ride with me occasionally. That's all I would use this for... occasional use. Despite being DOT rated this does not seem to be as well constructed as better name brand helmets. It has lots of plastic parts (vents, latches, lever for visor, etc)that I'm uncertain will last long. It is comfortable enough and has decent interior padding. If you are looking for a cheep 2nd helmet to use occasionally or a helmet for the kids to use with go-karts or off road toys then this would work fine. If you are looking for a primary road motorcycle helmet, look elsewhere. ... show more

I bought this to ride my scooter it's safer to have this kind of helmet than a bike helmet cause I can reach speeds up to 20+ mph. I got a small and it fits perfectly even with my glasses and ear buds with no discomfort. Plus you can't beat the price without sacrificing safety.
