Initial impression 3Star. I may update after a ride (Harley). Helmet fits without squeezing or feeling too loose. Bluetooth synch was easy and speakers sound good inside the helmet (need to assess while riding). Boom mic projected sound during a call which was received and sent clearly on both ends. Radio reception was good. I am not a fan of the BT mounting process. It either requires peeling the trim from the helmet (gluing back required) or squeezing the trim into the mount (loose fit) or finally cutting the trim to slide the bracket into the helmet cavity. I’ll take it for a ride soon and provide better feedback. I live in a very windy area with daily 20-25mph sustained and gusts up to 60mph. Helmet buffeting and wind noise will be variables in future. Weather warmed up today so out for a ride. Helmet is really good dampening the sounds of wind and exhaust. BT speakers kept up with out distortion up to about 65-70,moh. They degraded significantly after but that is to be expected given the loud exhaust which is really the root cause of distortion. BT mount stayed on tightly as well and I had a pretty good cross wind buffeting the helmet. I’d call this helmet a keeper!

This is an awesome Helmet/Bluetooth combo. Helmet fits great and I love the slide down sun visor for my commutes during the mornings since I do wear prescription glasses. Now let's talk about the Bluetooth. Sound is great and plenty of volume. Music is crisp and so are the incoming phone calls. Easy to install but do be careful while pulling the wires through the padding. I do believe I might have damaged one speaker line while installing which was probably why one speaker would cut in and out. I immediately contacted the seller and was contacted back immediately as well. Was instructed to take pictures of the unit and packaging and email them back to them. Poof,,, once again, immediately responded with "we will have another set of speakers in the mail ASAP". A few days later they were here, installed a bit more carefully, and now enjoying my rides through the mountains and to work. Awesome product and Amazing customer service. FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY !!!

I Been Riding Since 1985 *Used At Harley Davidson Training Course July 2025* To "REGAIN" My Certification Pretty Good Helmet For The Price. It Is Snug & Little More Comfortable. But You Got To Be Moving In Summer Heat. Air Flow Could Be Slightly Better. Excellent Helmet For Beginners. TRUST... IT WILL PROTECT THE YOUR "BONE-TOP!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bluetooth Is OK. This purchase was for my 19 year old nephew who just got his first motorcycle. The old one did not allow him to hear well because of the air that would blow thru it. We feared this was a safety hazard!!! Kids these days . . . This new helmet is fantastic!!! Not only can he hear wearing it but when speaking with me on the phone I could hear him!!! The ear piece is a great addition!! It fits like a glove and he loves it!! The other features make this product safe for the rider!!! You need a new helmet this one is worth every dollar.

Update June 15, 2021: While I still wear and enjoy the helmet, the Freedconn bluetooth system failed early on. The speakers work, but I can no longer count on the microphone working. I have emailed Freedconn and they have not responded despite the product being well within warranty. Buy another brand of communicator as Freedconn will not take care of product issues with their cheaply made products. I commute by motorcycle and use a variety of modular helmets. This 1storm modular helmet offered the somewhat rare full orange color I have wanted for a long time. I purchased it as a back-up to my LS2 modular helmet, assuming that the LS2 would be the superior helmet. The 1storm seems to be quieter, fits tighter at the front, and gives me more room for speakers or bluetooth earbuds than the LS2. I now wear this helmet more than my much more expensive LS2 lid. Quality wise, I will have to give it six months of constant use to determine how well it will take the commuting punishment. For the price though, this is a steal of a helmet.

This is a very good helmet for the price. I've had 300 dollar helmets that didn't function this well. The chin strap is very comfortable, the chin button release is fully covered by the chin damn but is still easily accessible (doesn't let in excess airflow). Looks GREAT in open face mode. The bluetooth unit that comes with it is a cheap unit, but has worked without issues for months now - and the battery life is amazing! Can't beat this setup for the money - I've tried.

The helmet itself is okay, but the Bluetooth is useless. The volume is so low, I can only imagine the reviews praising it, are by people that only listen to the helmet on their couch. They surely don't listen to it while moving. As far as the helmet, it's a bit noisy, but has great ventilation. If you love the carbon look, this is by far one of the better options on the market. Just buy the version WITHOUT the Bluetooth.
