I purchased 3 - 3pcs sets of the oversized king (+) sheets (Egyptian cotton), each of a different color, to fulfill a specific function: Protective cover for/from my dogs with enormous "pillow case-shams" to cover very large foam wedges to support my upper torso during sleep. I really needed the "oversize" nature to provide enough drape over a king size bed and protect the sides of the mattress and blankets. To achieve this oversize function, panels are sewn onto an already large size size flat sheet (probably the maximum available from the weaving looms). For my special purposes, the size and fit is perfect (wonderful, superb, awesome). From available reviews, I see that many people are upset about the sewn-in panels (which do not alter the functionality and appearance applied to the over-the-side drape of the sheet). I believe that concern over these side panels is misplaced in the context of the massive size of the sheet. I chose a stripe pattern, so the sewn portion appears as a side panel (located over the side of the bed). If the sheet was sewn together in the middle, I too might have concerns - but such was not the case for my sheets (as has been reported for other manufacturers). The fabric quality is superb. The high thread count (800) is not a problem regarding heat retention given the subjective "thickness" of the fabric. The Egyptian cotton's soft and elegant texture is wonderful and is similar to the Puma cotton that we love in the USA. These sheets are not cheap, but in the context of the "oversize" nature of the products available accompanied by a myriad of amazing colors (plus the available stripe pattern) + the fabric quality and sewing quality ... it's a no brainer about overall relative value. I use very expensive flax linen sheets for my bed - largely for breathability and the soft drape over my body. These thinner sheets rival flax linen for comfort in my opinion. Yes flax linen flat sheets are more readily available in massive sizes -- but at astronomical prices. Polyester sheets are much cheaper and available in larger sizes but they are subjectively much "hotter" and I have real concerns about durability (which is anecdotal for me). Now here is the best part about Amazon: The initial order could only be fulfilled in one of my chosen colors. I was initially informed on the website that it would be many weeks to back-order and fulfill the remaining order. That was OK with me -- especially when, after I received the first portion of the order, I found such suburb quality. I day or two later (checking again on the delivery status dates) I found that the supplier and Amazon (working together apparently) chose to drop ship the order immediately from India. A few days later, I received a FEDEX delivery at no additional charge to immediately fulfill the order! Wow! Can you beat that? Kudos to Jeff Bezos and the Amazon team AND I'm not a Prime subscriber. (Only because I live in a rural area where full prime delivery services have been untenable ... but I'm now just beginning to receive direct delivery from Amazon rather than UPS, FEDEX, or secondarily through USPS and I will probably spend the extra money for a Prime subscription). I shop prices and quality very, very hard and rely on so many of these reviews. Careful perusal of the item descriptions + analysis of Reviews usually results in great choices. Very, very rarely do I have to return a product. If Amazon will make books available in the USA from their UK website (without exceedingly high shipping charges), I will be truly fulfilled.

The headline of this listing is slightly misleading because it implies that you get 3 sheets. What you actually get is one sheet and 2 pillowcases. The listing does say this, so it isn't deceptive, o learn from my mistake and make sure to read it thoroughly. That said the material of the sheet and pillowcases is feels good, and it works like a charm on our California king bed. My husband is NBA tall, so this lets us tuck it in at the bottom with extra space so his feet are comfortable. There is a seam about a foot (30 cm) from the bottom, but it still works great for us.

I absolutely HATE traditional top sheets that barely tuck in at the bottom and barely hit the sides of the mattress after two people slide under the sheet. These are super huge, with roughly 18 inches hanging on each side of the bed (without people under the sheet), and approx. 12-14 in for tucking in at the foot of the bed on my 16" mattress.

A regular king size sheet was not generous enough on our adjustable split-king bed. The size of this one is great. It is good quality, but not really luxurious and does not have a large top hem. It's just a large square sheet with narrow hem all around. I will probably order a second one.
