I have been in the market for a projector for over a year, not quite sure which one to choose. There's so many options out there - and I was afraid to spend good money on a product that wouldn't meet my needs. After receiving and using this projector - I am SO happy I waited!! First, and I think the most important - the projection of images is clear and bright. The image can be adjusted to perfection. It's crisp and clear, not blurry as a lot of less expensive projectors will provide. I have used this projector in a room with lights on and the images are still bright and can still be clearly seen. There is an auto focus feature that also works great. The projector sits on it's own stand that is adjustable. Once it's adjusted to your liking, it stays there - the stand is durable and there is no worry about it moving on it's own. The unit has built in speakers, which are nice considering how small the unit is. I have attached my unit to a bluetooth speaker - but I would be just as happy with the sound provided with the projector. The unit itself does make operating noises, it's a low hum - nothing loud or annoying. This projector is able to connect to our home wi-fi - and then it has pre-installed apps for a numerous amount viewing options, plus more to download. Some of my favorites are YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+. The included remote makes it easy to navigate the operating system and enter in passwords. In addition to those options, you can also connect the projector to a computer via HDMI or bluetooth. There is no lag when using these options, the streaming is flawless and makes for a great viewing experience. I am THRILLED with this projector, especially at it's price point. This is a fabulous bargain and I would absolutely recommend it! It works great and the unit itself is durable and bound to last for a long time.

Over the years, I've gone through my fair share of projectors around the 100 dollar mark. At the time of review, the total cost of this one is 90, which reasonable for this projector. Image quality: A common experience is this type grade of projector are low quality lenses, the glass optics in front of the projector. You'd often find that with these types of projectors is that the image is sharp in the center and softens towards the edges and corners. This Hippus projector isn't immune to this, but it's way more acceptable than others I've tried. I've pleasantly surprised. Plus, it's a quality image, native 1080p as it claims. Sound: I'm going to keep this short. The built in speakers are there, but I wouldn't watch anything longer the 5 minutes with the built-in speakers. It feels small, because it is. I've attached a small sound bar via the 3.5mm jack and USB power and it's miles better. On top of that, you can use a bluetooth speaker with no noticeable latency. There's no distortion or static when increasing the volume. Smart function: This is what I've been most impressed with. It has Android 11 built in, which is a new feature of the projectors I've tried. With android, it has Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube preinstalled. They work as they should! On top of that, you can log into the Google Play Store and install whatever other streaming apps you want. Even moreso, Google Chrome is preinstalled which is cool but it's hard to navigate with the D-pad or Mouse Mode on the provided remote. Perhaps you can navigate better with a bluetooth mouse/keyboard but I haven't tried. Auto-keystoning: While it's digital auto-keystoning, it works after an initial calibration and adapts to any angle you tilt the projector. However, there are physical stops in the degrees that you can tilt and keep it at. I've using it at the first notch above straight horizontal. On top of that, you can digitally reduce the image size. Casting: This is what I appreciate the most about this projector. It has an android app preinstalled called AirPin(Pro) which allows me to cast videos and my screen from an iPhone via AirPlay! The projector acts as an AirPlay TV and it streams clearly and smoothly. For those with Android, it has Miracast, which you can cast your screen or videos. I have no need to connect a Chromecast or Roku to this Hippus projector which is a very welcome surprise. Fan noise/heat: A lot of these small projectors need decent fan power to keep them cool. While this fan noise is noticeable, it's acceptable when playing sound through the sound bar. It does produce warmth around its operation, so try not to block the rear. This is a very solid sub 100 dollar projector and I'm very happy with it!
