This cover allows no water to seep through therefor causing the cover to rip due to how much water weight gathers on top. Complete waste of money. There are tons of rips around the edges like seen in this picture.

I got this the beginning of fall last year and it has held up with the cold, rain, and. high winds. We get out and siphon the water off of it when we can, but it has stayed covered up throughout the winter

The media could not be loaded. This 18’ pool cover us worthless. It ripped within a hour of putting it on our pool. Of course we ordered it early in August so we would have it to close our pool in September so now we are stuck with this piece of trash. In addition we have to remove it and reinstall a new cover. We’ve covered our pool for years. We usually get at least one full winter of use out if one. I’m very disappointed with this product! If I could I would give it MINUS 5 stars. Quality of product is poor. We ordered on July 2023 to cover our above ground pool. Within two months the side of the cover was ripped. Where the sand bags are located. We had high winds and that was the end of the cover. Winter is here and definitely will not last. Don’t waste your money or you’ll regret it. ... show more

I got it and yes it a nice cover and love the sandbags that come with it. However as soon as I put it on it tore in 2 different places after putting the sting through the cover and tighten it so it won't blow off. I did contact Amazon right away and told them because for 60 bucks it shouldn't have tore that fast and grateful I was able to get my money back. I just hope it lasts. I am tired of buying these things ... show more

    • Good fabric no so good stiching and grommets
Fabric is superior to regular covers as they show in pictures. The problem is in the stitching they use. It is of bad design and comes apart with little stress.The grommets used for the rope tie (is way to stretchy) rusted after on month and a couple of rains! I like the cover material it is heavy duty and so far show no signs of leakage! I returned the one that the stitching had come apart. The new one I set up differently one with a wire rope and allowed a lot of slack to prevent stress on the seam the goes around the pool. I also have 8 old chlorine bottles filled with sand tied off to the wire rope loosely to allow cover to move freely in wind but not fly off cover. Hope this helps !     • Seemed good, but comes apart at the seams.
I was hopeful when I received this pool cover. I was hoping the different material might be better than other covers I have bought, but I was wrong. It has only been on my pool for 2 weeks now and it is coming apart at the seams. I didn't have the weights on there at first but when I added them with a small amount of weight as suggested in other reviews it was only a day or two that it pulled apart at the seams in the areas where the sandbags were attached.
