works as described. was able to easily program a code for each kid and their safe. i kept the keys in case the battery dies or they forget the password. i couple of issues i have with the design though. 1. if you just let the safe sit on a desk, not installed with screws, the weight is off balanced if you open the doors. i had to put a 5 lbs weight inside to offset it or when the kids open their safe it tips forward. 2. the bottom should have rubber feet. some of the metal is not totally smooth and would scratch the dresser it was sitting on so i put a towel to avoid it safe from scratching. i can purchase feet for the safe that isn't a big issue but the weight of the door is too heavy and you'll need to put counter weight in the safe or drill holes and install it from tipping over when opening the safe. for those 2 reasons i minus 1 star. ... show more

Defective item. Aside from the 3 self troubleshooting reasonsz, this product does not come with any support. This product is useless without a functioning keypad. I replaced the batteries with 3 different sets of unopened brand new batteries. I pressed the RE d reset button at least 10 times up to 20 minutes on two of those times which was a complete waste of my time. Now I have to arrange to take this one of only 2 Whole Foods grocery stores in New Orleans which is located clear across the city. Inconvenience. Such a hassle. I'll purchase another brand safe from another retailer that is more customer centric. Disappointed. ... show more

Ok I guess decent amount of room for storage but better as a lock box cuz the key hole is hidden and the battery compartment door doesn't stay shut it is very quick and easy to set up as for noise level when it's dying it beeps every few minutes to let you know it's not to sturdy and it doesn't seem like the plastic or the metal is to fireproof but we will see in the future ... show more
