My grandson is a wonderful artist at 10 years old! He had the best reaction when he opened this ! He said this is all I need to survived art! Keep in mind, this was a first reaction and he hasn't used it yet so I cannot comment on the quality of anything. This was very giftable! The price point for each item in the small cabinet was a great value. For one, the quality of the paper is very good to start with. Some kits don't include paper. We purchased the $31 collection and we didn't think a 10 yo needed more or less.

I purchase this for my daughter when she wanted to begin art class. This set is perfect. Several different mediums to try. The sketch pads are a great addition. It’s nice that it comes in a compact case. Perfect when you don’t have space to leave things out.
