bought these for my kids aged 3-7, the blades pulled away from the handles almost immediately once they started their first epic sword fight. If you're buying these for an only child or like a 2 year old, then they'd be fine, but they'll start breaking as soon as a kid plays with them the way a sword should be played with. We're going to try some glue and duct tape to see if we can get more use out of them, but I honestly wasn't expecting much at this price anyway. Got these to replace a lost foam sword from five below. The quality was substantially poorer. They did not last five minutes out of the box. They are also very small. See photo next to a typical roll of paper towels.
