I like the large swivel screen and the fact that you can return to where you left off. It has connections I won’t use, but would be great for families who would like to connect it to tv. I bought it for my old camper, so I can enjoy dvd’s in the evening.

Often times human touch goes a long way. At least it does for me. I'm so tired of machines putting me on hold for hours on end, while telling how important to their business I am. I am changing my rating to this, because the seller took full accountability for the defective one and offer a refund I didn't even ask. Anyone can sell portable DVD players, the difference is and it will always be, how companies make you feel. My interaction with this seller reminded me of Maya Angelou's words. She wrote: “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Really good looking piece of machinery. That's about it. Fortunately I didn't throw away my old Sylvania one. It skips, it freezes with brand new DVD movies. I even ran a DVD cleaner disc. Some episodes play, some don't. It is either this, or all the discs of all the seasons of " The Middle" which I also bought thru Amazon came defective, even though the discs look pristine. I'll be writing a review on those too. Won't be returning either the series or the DVD player...it is not worth the hassle. Have been waiting for a refund on a third order Amazon fowled up and after 10 days of not getting a refund, I had to call Amazon customer service, and after talking thru 10 minutes of machine this and automated that, finally got a human being. Who profusely apologize, and issued my refund and told me it would be another 5 days for me to see the refund on my account. And the icing on the cake, a forth order of a neck ac fan has been delayed since Monday the 17th.....all of this with having Amazon prime. Really disappointed but I guess Amazon and I had a good run for many years.

I now have 4 DVD players (2 connected to TVs & a 7" screen portable-used since 2014). I LOVE the 15" screen!! I LOVE region-free!! I LOVE the control buttons on the player (quick & easy to use)!! BUT... I DISLIKE the tinny speakers (but I do LOVE the price point, so it's a tradeoff). I DISLIKE parts of the remote (hard to read, but I am getting used to it). Overall, I LOVE it (sure beats a 7" screen & I have a terrific speaker that I can plug right in). All my life I watched primetime TV programs, I don't anymore & I don't steam (pay a subscription & be at their programming whims). With DVDs I can watch what & when I want- NO COMMERCIALS!!!

I’ve only had it a few days and used a few times but so far I love it. Has a plastic frame which took getting used to. It’s hard brittle type of plastic so I doubt would survive rough handling but too soon to tell durability. It works great love the big screen speakers seem ok but I don’t have anything to compare to. To me it was well worth the price with a coupon. I’ll try to update after awhile if I remember. I like that it’s not black love color

I bought this because I was unhappy with another dvd player I bought that cost a lot more. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The sound quality is great, screen size is perfect, the picture quality is good but a little darker than others I’ve had. The only thing I would have changed would be removal of the DVD from the player. Otherwise I’m very satisfied with this dvd player for the price.

Its OK, I guess. The instruction manual isn't as helpful as it would seem. It does seem to play nicely. I havent been able to get it to do any of the menu functions beyond play, ff, and rew. The remote control does not work at all. I've put in 3 sets of brand new aaa batteries & it still does nothing. Ound is decent and the picture quality looks good from what i can tell. I'm actually considering returning the DVD player at this point.
