This is a great example of you get what you pay for. This computer started out just fine. It ran my games okay, and it was perfect for my writing and running my business. However, couple months after getting it I started hearing rattling inside it. Then I realized Screws were coming off the back of it and so were the little pads for the feet. Then it started to get hot. Now the power port is messed up and I'm having trouble charging it. I have no back up computer and would have to send it in to be repaired which would cause all kinds of issues for writing deadlines and business. It looks like a great buy but it is cheap junk. I have never had a laptop fall apart like this.

My more expensive laptop that was not even a year old had to be sent in for repairs and I needed to get something quick to use for work while the repairs were being made and this laptop ticked all the boxes for an incredible price. I've actually gotten my other laptop back but still have been using this one more. Overall I have to say that this laptop is pretty great. Beautiful screen, fast. For work I often have many windows open at a time and this thing has no problem handling that. My main use is editing and graphic design and it runs my work programs perfectly even with multiple programs open. Only issue I have is that the fingerprint scanner does not work great. I have reset it but that does not help so I mostly just use the pin instead, but I would love to know if there is a way to fix it. One other thing to mention is the power supply has an unusually short cord. I ended up buying a replacement for it that was only about $20 on Amazon. Despite those two minor things I still think it is well worth it. This laptop is an excellent value for the money!

I bought this FunYet 16" pro computer to replace my old Dell 15" ..... The computer coms packed quite well and is very sturdy material. It arrives within four days from Kirkland, Washington. The screen is very bright and has good definition and contrast. The keyboard is the standard, and the keys are clean and responsive. Here are the negatives: (1) The battery does NOT last as advertised; the battery barely lasts 3 hours, and when turned off at night, loses 50% of its power when opened up the next morning. (2) there are no HDMI ports (3) There is no SD card slot (4) The power port is too close to a USB port and hard to use due to its proximity. One will need to purchase additional devices to accommodate these slots, or even an extender to support multiple attachments. ..... I emailed customer support as to the battery issue, and their answer was, "My computer does the same thing". Since this unit is only 10 days from purchase, I will update in a month or two ... PS. I purchased an extended 4-year warranty to cover my Funyet, as they have NO representation in the USA. UPDATE: I have now had a lot more time on this Funjet computer, and the cooperation from Customer Service is quite lacking. The battery will not stay full at all and drains down to 64% overnight with the unit turned off. The computer skips when you are trying to load an address or even insert a URL address. I am very concerned about service if this Funyet computer need work. We need to have customer support in the USA; not in China. I will be returning this unit to AMazon for a full refund.
