So far I am loving this laptop. Great storage and graphics. Perfect for building/editing videos and multimedia presentations through my AV work. The system's speakers are less than ideal, which is typical of a laptop, but external speakers or headphones sound good. I'm also not crazy about the power plug on the left side, the USB ports on the right, and the power button located where I'm used to the delete key, but feel like that will just take getting used to, there's no problem with their functionality. ... show more

i bought this to game on however it ended up crashing not once but twice and i had taken it to a repair store. they told me that windows wasn’t connecting which made a blue menu screen pop up. thought graphics are nice and it runs smoothly, i can play anything or do much on it

    • Satisfices after my previous laptop broke, decent for price, great SSD capacity

I originally bought this as a budget laptop after my previous, more expensive laptop's keyboard broke. It works well as a budget laptop: it allows me to do everything well except gaming: runs Linux Mint (no issues with proprietary drivers in the hardware). I was scared at first that there was thermal issues, but it's just that the laptop is low-power and doesn't need much cooling. The left side of the keyboard gets a little hot, but I did a diagnostic on the temps and nothing is wrong because the N100 processor just doesn't need a lot of cooling. The storage capacity is really good for the price. The SSD has 1 GB of storage, while my old $500 refurbished laptop had 128 GB (though the processor was an I7). I wish I had dedicated graphics so I could play modern games, but it fits what I need right now while I'm unemployed. ... show more

    • A Decent Low-end PC with Several Annoying Issues

Since Google decided to ruin Chrome, I needed a replacement for me Chromebook and this PC seemed to be priced right and just powerful enough for my needs. I also wanted a backlit keyboard. It all functions as advertised. It boots quickly, is light, has a good battery life (no hard stats, sorry) and lets me choose whatever browser I want, just as any PC would. There are a few really annoying issues though. First it has a proprietary charging adapter instead of USB-C like most other modern devices. This is a strange choice and will stink if I lose the adapter or it breaks. Second, the trackpad has absolutely no palm rejection whatsoever. If any body part touches the trackpad in any way, your cursor will go flying or you'll invoke an unintended gesture. Third and the most annoying is the keyboard. The keys feel good but the layout is weird as if it was designed by someone who had a keyboard described to them but never used one. A lot of the control keys (arrows, home, end) are place just oddly enough that I hit arrow keys when trying to hit shift all the time. Delete is at the top of the number pad and I find I have to hunt for it all the time. It gets frustrating. Finally, is there a way to turn on the key backlighting by default so I don't have to do it EVERY time I power on the PC? That gets old fast. ... show more
