Very heavy duty, and initially difficult to deal with on my own because I was trying to install a very wide and heavy strip overhead. However, once I realized it was easier to install in smaller segments, and still looked good, I cut it into more manageable 2 foot pieces and secured each piece with a staple gun. It has a nice wide band for stapling/nailing. For corners, using smaller 2-3 inch segments at angles made for a natural appearance. These photos show you what two strips looks like, with several inches overlap. I got a 16.5 ft roll for this project and am back to order one more roll. It would be fine as is, but there is a bare spot at the top (final photo). I think it will look better with another layer, making it fuller.

Bought this to put around the top of our palm trees. Been up a couple weeks. Looks great & held up so some high winds during a storm. Only concern I have is how it will look after a year or more of Michigan weather exposure. I would recommend it.

Unfortunately right after i bought to replace areas ( other kind of product) on our cabana, we decided to sell our house and the cabana we built has to come down. We will be rebuilding one at our new home, so i will use then. But from what i can tell it's going to be real nice and hold up much better.

Don't expect a long life outdoors. Looks pretty good. Rustles in breeze adds atmosphere. UPDATE it's been outside for a year in Arizona sun and heat with no...... NO! Damage. Cuts easily with scissors. Mount it anyway you want. Nails or screws are the most obvious. Great looks and great product.
