Great product! Tested it against three other competitors for the same job. Smokey Oaks Breeze Detector was simply the best! I can see it better and longer than the other products that I tested. The media could not be loaded. There's a full big bottle, full small bottle, and an empty small bottle in this set. This is probably enough to last me at least the next ten years.     • DECEPTIVE Product Description - You get a lot less than you're expecting
The headline for this product says "15x More" and "15fl oz" -- unfortunately it's talking about the actual bottle sizes and not the amount of breeze detector powder you're getting. What you actually get is 3.3oz (96 g) of powder TOTAL and for that price there are MANY lower cost brands available.

    • So many uses for this superfine breeze powder!
This powder works great to Quickly and easily indicate the direction of the wind that the wind is blowing when released into the air. The large bottle is only partially filled Which was disappointing initially but a little goes a long way. There is a medium size and a tiny bottle in addition for use in the field. The medium size bottle works best one strong squeeze and a thick plume of white smoke comes out and drifts in the direction of the wind. The smallest bottle may be good in a pinch but squeezing it doesn't release a cloud into the air, more like spurts of the powder as if throwing flour around. I like that the compound is non toxic and remains in the air for quite some time. I have found many uses for this powder other than just telling the direction of the wind. Similar to its intended purpose it is great for detecting drafts indoors puff some around window and door cracks and you will see where air is entering or escaping your home. You can also test the flow of your HVAC system and duct work, bathroom vents or chimney flues but be careful not to clog your filters or expose it to flame as the clouds can be flammable. I've also used it in my dark basement to Identify and clear out spider webs. I used to constantly walk face first into webs in my basement because the thin silk is so difficult to see, But a few puffs of this powder into the air will coat the spider webs and show them clearly. Last but not least if you have a laser pointer or any spotlight, this powder shows the beam clearly by bouncing light off all the particles in the air. There are so many uses for this and I'm sure I'll think of many more, great for hunters, wildlife watchers, and homeowners alike! ... show more
