Used it for the first time today in a 6x6 blind and within a couple minutes you can smell the ionized air. Not going to say its silent but probably not a big enough deal to worry about it. I had it running for a 3 hours and the led indicator never went down. Plan to take it on state hunt trips so I can use it inside my pelican cases. ... show more

I have had it a few months now and haven’t actually had a chance to use this. It’s main purpose is to kill the scent on my hunting gear inside of a covered clothing rack that I purchased specifically to keep my hunting clothes separate from my daily clothing so the laundry detergent or every day smells do not get on them. It turns on after having it for 6 months now and actually has kept the charge I put on it when I first got it 6 months ago. Though I trusted the number of reviews that indicated this was "just the thing" to get rid of smoke (and vape) odors from a vehicle, I admit it almost seemed too good to be true. I'm happy to say it very much DOES work, exactly as described. We had some pretty strong smoke (including Weed) and vape odors in the seats and carpet in a car we own. Thus, I put this device in there for around 3 hours or so (then opened all the windows for another hour) and it took out around 90% of the smell. I ran it twice more (the 3rd time was just for good measure) and all traces of anything smoked are just gone! Since it's a station wagon one time I put it up front, the other in the back section. Charging was simple and easy to do, and I'm sure I'll find other uses for it. ... show more

Works very well in my crew cab truck keeping odors out. Very seriously considering purchasing a second one so I don't have to share it in our van. The little rubber USB port covers are a problem and will get lost very quickly. I opted to put a magnetic USB charger adapter on mine so it keeps the charging port covered while still allowing it to charge (but truly, I don't know where the little rubber cover has gone) ... show more

Bought an old car that was sitting in a garage for a few months: smelt like humidity, dirt and smoke. Used this machine, and it took about three tries, but the car odor has disappear for a few days now. Will update if it changes, but the machine works well. Worth adding - it's pretty quiet too.

    • Fell apart within 2 months
Bought Oct 6th 2022. Was fairly quite and would take it in my stand with me while hunting. I never dropped it or slammed it down on anything. Was always pretty careful with it. I went out with it on every hunt for about a week. One day I went out, got in my tree and hung up the ozone generator as I always did. When I turned it on, it was making almost a grinding noise. I shut it off and gave it a shake and heard a piece rattling around in there. So I showed it a little lovin and gave it a few slaps. It shut up pretty quick and I put it to the backside of the tree I was in and sat down for my hunt. Let it run for 4-5 hours and got down. When I got home, obviously it was dead. So I go ahead and walk over to the charge cord to plug it in and wasn’t able to connect the charger because the charge port on the unit had receded INTO the unit. I was able to get it charged after I grabbed my tweezers and pulled it back up and managed to get the charger in there. Boom. Charging. I was happy enough but as the hunting season went on and the rattling/grinding noise from the broken piece had persisted and gotten worse. On top of that, I was getting sick of having to jimmy the port out of the unit every time I had to charge it. I buy everything I need BEFORE the season starts (bought this a week into the 2023 season) and wasn’t looking to make anymore purchases outside of reason. Since this worked with a little coercion when I needed it, I just dealt with it. By the time it became unbearable, the window to replace it through Amazon had expired. Some time has passed now, but I remember the return process through the manufacturer to be unreasonable in my personal opinion and opted to bite the $35 cost and buy a different brand. The one I have now works much better and puts out exponentially more ozone than this one. I used to buy from HME, but have not and will not return to them after this fail of a product. I give it 2 starts only because it did what it was intended to do by deodorizing my hunting gear to a decent aspect and kept me relatively shielded from the deers noses. ... show more
