The 1/2”x3/8 flared adapter had a defective thread on the 3/8” female side… After an extended wait time for the product compared to amazons familiar 1-2 day shipping. If it saves you the learning curve I recommend you keep extra 1/2”x3/8” flared adapters to guarantee a smooth hook up with no disappointment or loss of time if your in the plumbing industry.
