I needed a short extension coed for my radial arm saw in my workshop. I had just rearranged my shop tools and realized the power cord was now about a foot short. This short extension cord worked out well. My saw only draws about 10amps so the 14ga wire was adequate for my job. It should be ok up to 15 amps. The outer insulation is pretty tough and looks like it will survive the normal rigors of a workshop. It is also quite flexible which allowed me to train it exactly the way I wanted and it stayed in place. The connectors on the ends fit very well into their mating plug/socket. Its a handy extension if you hust need a short length and don't want excess cable bunched up. Would buy again.
