These are quite decent tools actually. The case is fabulous, heavy and well made. each tool is securely housed in it's appropriate slot. the tools themselves are NOT for automotive use obviously, but they're good enough for household needs. I ended up using the wire cutters, the hammer, the wrenches, electric tape, two of the screwdrivers and all the tools worked well. my one complaint is that the tools such as cutters etc don't have spring between the blades, which makes them less ergonomic. The handles are nice, plastic/rubber mix, good grip. I highly doubt recommend to use these tools on your car because Chinese tools are known to strip screws and bolts which will add a massive headache to a seemingly simple problem, but for basic household maintenance these are very appropriate tools. ... show more

I'm not disappointed in this tool set. There's a socket and ratchet for most every need. The range of metric and standard sockets is thorough, fitting 1/4", 3/8', and 1/2" ratchets. Deep sockets are metric only. The wrench set with open and closed ends is metric as well (see photo). The sockets fit well and are released with ease from the three ratchets which seem to be of very good construction. Of course, these also fit an impact wrench, but I don't think they're rated for that use. The extensive set of bits also work well with the ratchets. I tried them out with adapters (not included) to fit my standard cordless driver. No problems. These will really speed up fastening bolts needing hex wrenches. There are other useful tools but I'll refer you to the description and the photos for more information. The case is well designed and I'm glad to see the 4 latches since this is a heavy kit - close to 26 pounds. It has a piece of foam that fits between the two sides of the case, and if you use it all the parts will stay in their slots when carrying it by the handle unless you get rough. Thankfully, all of the parts and the slots where they belong are well marked. Is this a good deal? It's certainly a good deal in that it could never be considered a bad deal. I like that the ratchets have more comfortable handles than the bare steel I'm used to. They also have holes for hanging them. The case seems extra durable and secure with the 4 latches. I hope the 72 teeth ratchets have a long life. Personally, what with having a lot of vehicles, machines, and trailers to look after, I'm pleased and confident. This is a metric set. No inch wrenches or sockets are included. If you need a very complete metric tool set then this set is great. The case is larger than I expected and the set is heavier than I expected. That is because it includes a large range of tool sizes. The sockets go from 4mm for the smallest to 32 mm for the largest. Most sets don't include any sockets near the 32mm size. All tools seem to be very good quality. The rachets work well. The set includes a good selection of socket accessories, pliers, screw drivers, and a heavy hammer. The case works OK for storage, but if you have a tool cabinet it would be a lot easier to use that than popping the tools in and out of the blow molded case.
