I have been switching over to using these style of breakers for my solar projects and really liking them. This is a pretty good value for 3 of these 200amp ones. They are very handy to be able to disconnect parts of a system and I use them as much as disconnect switches as breakers. How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean: 1 STAR - Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could. 2 STAR - It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again. 3 STAR - It does what it was designed to do, but there's nothing really special about it. It's acceptable but not great. 4 STAR - I am very comfortable recommending it to a friend because it is is well made, durable, and delivers on its advertised features, and I would buy it again. 5 STAR - I really love it. The item exceeds my expectations of quality, durability and functionality. Not only would I purchase it again, but I would also actively encourage friends and family to do the same. All of my reviews are my own personal opinion and are completely honest no matter if I receive an item for free or I pay for it. I am an avid Amazon shopper, as well as an Amazon Vine Voice and I personally rely on reading reviews to make all of my buying decisions, so I understand the importance of honest reviews from my peers.

I got these breakers to use in my Truck/Camper setup. To break it down and make a long story short, my truck has an accessory battery in the bed, and the camper has it's own battery and solar panels. When parked, I wanted the panels on my camper to charge the accessory battery in my truck. I setup a wire connection on my truck accessory battery and camper battery with Anderson connectors, and made a 20' extension cord with 4 gauge wire to connect the two. I installed this breaker on the connector on the truck side, and I'm able to use it as a kill switch. This allows me to more safely connect and disconnect the cable linking the two battery banks by being able to cut the power to one side before connecting/disconnecting the wire. It also allows me to keep the connector on the truck disconnected until it's needed. These worked exactly as I had hoped and seem to be well built and constructed as well. The price is right where it should be for a 3 pack of these. I would definitely purchase these again if I need more and would recommend them to others looking for the same thing!

I was pleasantly surprised when I received this item. For the price, these breakers and ring terminals seem to be good quality, and they are just about all you need to safely connect trolling motors, audio amplifiers, or any other high-current DC devices. With a circuit breaker, you don't have to worry about needing to have the proper fuse handy when one blows, you can just reset it. The power rings look as if they will work with power wire up to 6-gauge, which is a little undersized for long runs at 150 amps, it might be OK for shorter runs. 6-Gauge copper wire is going to drop about 10% of DC voltage for every 10 feet of run. So you may want to consider some heftier cable and bigger terminals if you're going to be drawing current that approaches the rating of these breakers. Still, it's nice that they included something in the package. The breaker action is snappy and seems like it's going to work well. The rubber covers for the terminals on the breaker are nice, although the little bands that connect them to the body of the breaker are pretty fragile and need to be handled with care. Overall, I think that these are a good value at a little less than $9 each. Recommended!
