I ordered this index 2 months ago - and have been using the heck out of it. I always grab the new index - I know they're sharp. When I order these bits (at they're 35$ offering price) I thought, "No way - too good to be true." When they arrived I was immediately happy to see that I hadn't ordered a full index (1/16 through 1/2") - I thought I had. When I saw they only went to 3/8" I realized their might be a chance they were M35 with cobalt. Still a Great price. I'm happy to say these are exceptional drill bits, and will be in my shop for a long time being used and sharpened, and used again. They are quality drill bits at an excellent price - I have no reason to doubt they are M35. I got the worture 21 piece HSS M35 drill bit set to replace my cheap drill bit set from a low price tool store whose name partially thymes with "weight". Anyway the set came in a nice steel case with an acrylic window to view each of the bits. The case is designed so that you can see all of the bits, but they can't be removed unless you unsnap and open the case. The bits themselves came coated in a light oil, and while they look like normal drill bits, they perform like magic. I have used these on aluminum, brass, wood, mild steel, and dry wall, and they are still as sharp as day one! These bits have a shallow angle on the tip which takes a little bit of patience to get them to start cutting without skipping. Once they get started, they cut quickly and cleanly. When drilling metals these bits don't get clogged up like cheaper bits with the shavings as they are directed away from the hole/bit. Whether you are looking for new drill bits for yourself or as a gift these are a great choice that won't break the bank.

I've essentially switched to using these for all of my drill work. My old ryobi bits had broken during use on more than one occasion, but these stand up to all sorts of rigorous demands. They don't warp, or bend, and I've seen minimal dulling. The included case is not only simple but handsome if I do say so myself. Being able to keep bits clearly labeled and organized for quick reference and use is always indispensable. No matter what your needs are, these will help get the job done. Easy 5 stars

First impressions: These drill bits seem to be machined well and come in a handy case that’s easy to toss into my drill bag. I then tried out a couple of the bits drilling through a 0.065” thick steel pole after first center punching the hole location and adding a bit of machine oil to keep the bits cooler. Using a medium speed, the bits weren’t as fast to start cutting as some other bits I’ve used but, after drilling several holes, the bits still looked unused, so I think the bits are hard enough to keep sharp for some time. In use, the bits showed no flex and did not seem brittle. Compared with doing the same with some inexpensive titanium-coated bits I have, these M35 bits are significantly quicker to use and don’t show the wear that the titanium bits show. So, for the price, I’m happy with these bits and think they are an improvement for drilling into metal and aluminum compared with general-use drill bits.

I have the 15 piece drill bit set which has a typical rectangular plastic case that functions just fine. I’ve used these bits in both a drill press and hand drill with very acceptable results. My use has been with metal, but I suspect other materials like wood and plastic would have good results too. I did drill some hardened steel bolts and the drilling was not easy, but it got the job done and I could see no damage to the bits.

Offered by the Brand: Worture. This set has enough sizes to get most projects done. The shafts are round, and spin slightly if they are not tightened well. They seem durable, and have a good quality feel. Easy to retrieve and store the bits in the case, which is well marked, making it easy to read. Glas I ordered these. They come at a really good price for only $16.99.

These bits are listed as 5% cobalt, meant for drilling in hard metals. The photo on the seller page shows the bits as gold in color but mine are a sort of gunmetal color. Also, mine came in a flat case as shown on the photo, vs. the circular case some of the recent reviewers got. Cobalt drill bits tend to have 5-8% cobalt, so these are on the low end, but are relatively very low priced. One thing for sure: these are extremely sharp out of the box! Only time will tell how durable they are, but while new they slice through steel like butter.
