The scissors feel solid in the hand. The stainless steel looks good quality, and the black and gold design actually looks very nice and professional. One thing I noticed right away is that they cut cleanly without pulling or snagging the hair, which was important to me because I’ve tried cheaper scissors before that didn’t cut well. I also liked the thinning scissors a lot. They’re really helpful for softening the ends and reducing bulk, especially if you have thicker hair. I used them to take a little weight off the ends and the result looked much more natural. Of course, it doesn’t fully replace a professional stylist, but for at-home maintenance, trimming ends, or practicing simple cuts, I think it’s a very useful kit. Overall, it feels like great value for the price.

For the price I cannot complain. I used the shears and thinning shears, though they don’t feel super high quality they don’t feel cheap. They have a bit of weight to them. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive solution to home haircutting

Cheap in price and yes very cheap in quality. The cape is the only thing that has somewhat decent quality material and even that is just so so since the closure is not the greatest because of the ties being very short and the neck being very wide so it’s not all that protective for the neckline. The scissors don’t cut week at all. They are very dull and don’t even cut week enough like kitchen shears. They are poorly aligned and weak. I didn’t even bother with the thinning shears since they are of the same quality. The Combes are very flimsy plastic that bend easily. Nothing in this kit makes it worth keeping even for the very notice point unfortunately.
