I use these extensively with my A20 Pro V2 laser burner. They could easily and quickly and have a very nice finish. I’d like to paint them before I burn them. On occasion I will then place some blue painters tape over where I’m going to burn, and then after the burn, I painted it with a contrast in color and remove the blue painters tape. The result is really quite nice. You get a lot of usable plywood for a very reasonable price in this packet. The only thing I would caution you about, is that they don’t always sit flat on the bed of the laser. In my case, I built a downdraft table that holds them in place very nicely, but without that you would need some small weights to keep them from affecting the quality of the cut.

These basswood sheets have an attractive grain and are cut well, but for whatever reason they have a bowing to them which makes using them with a laser engraver more challenging than it needs to be. It's taking the laser well and the smell doesn't contain any chemical aftertaste, so I think it's pure wood, at least at the surface. I haven't tried cutting it with a laser. You get a lot of media with this product, and you can brace it flat in various ways, so I think this is still a good purchase, but I wish it were completely flat.

I am so impressed with these basswood sheets! It can be so hit-or-miss finding quality wood for laser cutting, but these are consistently flat, smooth, and free from those annoying knots or warping issues that ruin a good project. Quality & Use The consistency of the 3mm thickness is perfect, and it cuts like a dream on my machine. I love how clean the edges are after a cut, and they take stain and paint beautifully. Whether I’m working on intricate models or custom signs, these sheets provide such a stable and high-quality foundation. The Verdict If you do any amount of laser cutting, model building, or fine woodworking, this is a must-have. You’re getting a professional-grade product at a really great value, and the packaging was super secure—everything arrived in perfect condition. I’m already planning on ordering more! Pros: Consistently flat and smooth surface; perfect 3mm thickness; easy and clean to cut (laser-friendly); great for painting, staining, or engraving; excellent value. Larger than the normal 12 x 12“ these pieces of Base Wood were a lot more efficient getting things cut at a reasonable amount of time. With that extra length, it actually fit inside the honeycomb tray perfectly and I didn’t have to tape or magnet the wood down as it fit perfectly within the tray and held it in place. This was very time-saving. The wood is a high-quality cut on every piece. All the pieces were clean and flat no warping or other imperfections that would prevent it from creating a clean cut in Laser cutter. All the pieces were very smooth, and the texture on them was appeasing to the eye. They also took a stain very well only needed one coat. Have all the many choices of flat pieces of wood that you can get for engraving and cutting. I recommend this brand and I recommend this specific kind. It was very easy to work with it looked really good.

They worn well. I got them for crafting reasons and have had no issues! I didn’t cut or trim it so I can’t speak about that. I used some as a base for several things. Put contact paper on a few and haven’t had any peel. For me they are a good value for price. No little pieces sticking out so no splinters . The sheets are smooth and flat. Overall no issue and perfect for what I’m using them for. Comes with a good amount for the price

These are really useful if you do craft projects, small builds, laser cutting, or engraving and want a decent stack of plain wood sheets to work with. I liked having multiple sheets in one pack so there’s room for testing ideas or making mistakes without immediately stressing about wasting material. The size is nice for a range of DIY projects, and the unfinished surface makes them easy to paint, stain, engrave, or leave plain depending on what you’re doing. Since they’re thin, I’d use them more for craft and decorative purposes than expecting heavy-duty strength, but for that kind of use they work well.
