I purchased three of these and they all worked for 2 times then all stopped pumping after the 2 times they worked now I keep trying but to no avail not one but all three have failed. I am pumping gasoline maybe the plastic breaks down with gasoline. Big waste of time and money. Don't buy if your looking to transfer Gasoline.

The media could not be loaded. This is a handle-powered transfer pump that is ferocious in the sense that it works with any type of liquid - corrosive or gentle. It's a wonderful pump once you get it assembled, but I had one very frustrating obstacle in assembling this pump, namely threading the black plastic discharge pipe into the yellow plastic pump body. The threads for this connection are very fine and for some reason I couldn't get the threads started for a long time. Usually threaded pipes fit together easily for me, but not this joint. It was very frustrating. After the discharge pipe threaded in, the rest of the assembly went quickly. The three plastic yellow intake pipes threaded easily. You can use the pump with one, two, or three of those. To test the pump, I put the yellow intake pipe into a bucket of water, turned the handle, and started pumping at about 10 gal/min. The 5 gallons was transferred in about 30 seconds. So once assembled, the pump worked very well.

Piece of crap…. Used it sparingly for less then a year to pump diesel fuel into a 5 gallon can. Maybe used it 10 times before it. Crappy intake tube warped in side the 55 gallon drum I used.

This drum pump is incredibly easy to use and the design is very easy for me to assemble, making it a great choice even for beginners who aren't familiar with tools. The instructions are clear, and the parts fit together smoothly. Once assembled, it works very smoothly too. Pretty cheap for its worth.
