I actually really like this large rack case. For the price the hardware and configuration is really good. The plywood is solid but could be a bit thicker, but with care it should last a long time. The assembly was not too bad. Yes you have to rivet the bottom to the sides. There are 8 rivets per bottom side. (see images). There are also 3 rivets for each side to attach the upper shelf. Other than that it's pretty straightforward. See image of bolts. There are no instructions but it isn't hard to figure out at all. The covers double as tables and that is awesome. They have nice solid swing out legs with a locking pin. and the hardware that attaches them to the main unit is solid. For the adjustable angle top, i drilled two holes in the top cover which has a nice soft interior padding and use it as the adjustable shelf, it fits the racking perfectly and makes a nice solid adjustable platform that is easily put on and removed with just two wing nuts. (see image). The castors are large enough and very strong and they roll very easily. The locking mechanism on two of them works well. One downside is that it uses backing clips for the racking and only includes enough of them and screws for about 4 rack units. I had to use some i had from a server rack to attach all my rack units. They should include at least double as many, so plan ahead. The best part of the unit is the hardware for sure. It really is good quality and the latches are way better than a previous rack case i have had for 15 years. Overall i am very pleased especially for the price. For the size and quality, this rack is worth the money. The depth is just right for my amps and processors. It feels solid and I don’t worry about my gear when I’m moving it around.

    • Unassembled junk with no instructions
Actually zero stars, nowhere does it say it comes unassembled.You would have had to look at the last photo posted. Nowhere does it say you would need a rivet gun. That's right a rivet gun. And, to top it off, No Instructions with the order. I contacted the seller and they send me a YouTube link. Great, except it's in Chinese, and basically explains nothing. At one point the video it jumps to a close up of someone using a rivet gun, on what? Nobody knows, because nothing is explained and I don;t understand Chinese. ... show more

This case is really heavy duty. The locks and latches are strong, the handles feel solid, and the capacity is more than enough. I can roll it in and out of venues without worrying about damage.

Pretty good quality except some metal parts was rusted. I wont expect too much with that price.
