Once I finally got this hammock assembled, I loved it. It's very comfortable, and it's nice that it comes with a pillow. But while I was assembling this, I wasn't 100% sure it would be possible to fully assemble it. It comes with everything you need to hang it. I had existing hooks on two trees from a previous hammock, so I was able to use those -- but it does come with trees straps to wrap around trees and hang from them. What caused the biggest problem are the spreader bars that fit into pockets on either side of the hammock. It is nearly impossible to get the end into the pocket at the edge of the hammock. There's a little tab at one end and you grab that tab and use brute force to force the pole into the pocket. Once I finally got the first pole in and knew what I had to do, the other side was easier, but still unreasonable. This step was poorly thought out. Even worse, this hammock comes with no instructions so you just have to guess what you’re supposed to do. I didn't even know what the tree straps were for or how to use them until I looked up the listing to find out that they were called "tree straps" and then found a YouTube video that shows you how to use them. This hammock comes with a travel bag, but there's no way I'm ever taking those poles out of the end pockets again - so I am certainly not going to disassemble this to bring it anywhere. Fortunately, I bought it for my backyard, and that's where it's staying. Bottom line, assembly is extremely annoying and frustrating, but once it's together and hung, I love it. It's really comfortable. However, I would not feel comfortable putting two people on this. Balancing one person is already a skill. We'll take turns. ... show more

The spreader bar on each side is almost impossible to put in the little pockets which is very disappointing. Strong, waterproof material. Not only chains, but tree straps also. Was easy to hang, but still haven't gotten the spreader bar to slide into the pockets, so for this I take a star away. Well priced! ... show more

My first impression when we stretched it out was "Its too short". It is nearly as wide as it is long, unlike most hammocks I've used. Turned out it was sufficiently long for everyone in our family, all under 6ft. But you might want to double check if you are taller. It did indeed hold 2 people totaling over 400lbs between them. When 1 rolled off quickly, the other was surprised by being dumped off on the opposite side. You need to coordinate movements between 2 people, which can be tricky at first, but figured out over a short period. The kit had everything needed to set it up on an existing overhead rope span in the front yard. Every part is built strong. A minor complaint is the chromed rings have sharp weld splatter. This is encountered each time the height is adjusted. The mesh surface can be partially seen through, like a shade sale. This works for laying under the hammock to avoid sun while someone you are talking to is above you on the hammock. You can even push them while lying on the ground. ... show more

This hammock is huge and I like how the material is so easy to clean. Even though it does not need much assembling, I had a hard time trying to to put the bars in place. I also feel a litlle bit unstable when my husband and I were laying down, the slightest movement might cause you to flip over. This Hammock is pretty much your standard Hammock but extra wide. It supposed to fit 2 people but if you have ever tried to sit in a Hammock with a second person you would know that sounds a lot better them ot actually is. You always end up squished together in the middle usually uncomfortably hot because who sits Ina Hammock when it's not hot? But this is still great for 1 person.
